Hello dear Steem friends:)
Have you ever thought of visiting Iceland? If not you should start considering this Island to be your next summer getaway. Summer is the best part of the year to visit because of mild temperatures and 24 hours long day! There is literary no night and you can enjoy never ending days and outdoor activities. Those who stay up till midnight can admire midnight reddish sun. Iceland has a lot to offer! From stunning volcanic mountains to steamy valleys, natural thermal baths and stunning waterfalls. It has hundreds of natural parks where you can hike and admire it's unique nature. The most common way how to travel around is by car. You rent a car a the airport and travel around the country on well known Icelandic Ring Road. Mind that part of this road is closed during the winter months so you might not get to see the northern part of this island. We wanted to experience Iceland a bit differently and go of the beaten paths. Just nature and us! So we have changed car for horses and set for one of the most adventurous journeys ever! We took a local flight to one of the most northern parts of Iceland and landed at Husavik airport. We had our video cameras on all the time and managed to create this short video;

Lava formations at Dimmuborgir;
Found the guy of my life in Reykjavik;
Norther Iceland and it's river made canyon;
Biggest waterfall in Europe - Dettifoss;
Vatnajokull National Park;
Gheotermal steam coming from the ground almost everywhere you go;
Iceland might be crowded in the summer months because it's becoming very popular tourist destination. If you are more of a lone traveler and adventurer I recommend to come in the winter or just get lost in the nature on a horse back through the summer like we did.
Thank you for reading and hope you enjoyed the video and pictures! :)
