Here is a poem and original artwork that represents the fragility of emotion. It becomes so easy to feel like noone else shares these feelings with you but many are going through the same things, and while you may feel this way for a while, it will not last. And while one of the thoughs that comes to my mind all too often is about the world being evil or "out to get me", I still come to believe that the world is more good than bad.

My gentle nature has been worn thin My weary mind shuts out the thoughts Of all the hate a world can hold.
Since the beginning of the earth I am not the only one to feel so cold.
Every fragile heart and every mind Every eye open to the dark Hoping to find compassion Searching for hope.
Begging the world for kindness Asking the world for hope Wishing to find peace And Love And Light And the whisper from my soul Echoes through the night "Please Don't Hurt Me"
