Markham Park in Weston, Florida

Markham Park in Weston, Florida is a big Broward county park. http://www.broward.org/Parks/MarkhamPark/Pages/Default.aspx It has a wide variety of activities available to people seeking some outdoor fun. I just visited there to do a little trail bicycle riding. They have a nice variety of skill level mountain biking trails. There were packs of boy scouts, cub scouts, etc. there having fun at the park and camping.
Along with the mountain bike trails there is fishing available, target practice for bow and arrow as well gun target practice ranges. There are boat rentals available as well as camping.
Playgrounds, a dog park, a model airplane airfield, and a body weight exercise facilities are on site. Park fees are very reasonable as children 5 and under are free, and 6 and up are $1.50 for entrance.
