Gems ICO Review…..A real Gem of a project for me

Gems.jpg

Disclaimer: Not at all advice to jump on this ICO. Only my opinion .

Additionally , I am planning to Invest in this ICO and it is based on my research. You could do your own research as this is my opinion and I am doing it for the purpose of securing a proof of care contribution spot.

There are two main factors that get me excited about an ICO. That is the problem that the project is attempting to solve and the Team to solve the problem. This ICO ticks both those check boxes.

So the problem in this instance is that gems is trying to tokenize the MECHANICAL TURK industry.

What on earth is MECHANICAL TURK ?

These are micro tasks used by businesses . They are tasks performed by humans and not computers. They are Micro in nature such as arranging database, or labeling things to their appropriate pictures or objects, etc. Currently Amazon is in to this business and eats up a huge portion of the payments by acting as the middle man . There is another company called Crowdflower who is in to this business.

What GEMs does is create a new payment system for all this turks on a blockchain and due the tokenization it can create an ecosystem where the middleman is cut off, in the end giving more value to the job doer and job giving. Now there are couple of things here that needs to be kept in mind. Gems protocol is in a mission to create a platform where more jobs would be created with higher payouts plus anyone could perform these tasks from anywhere in the world.

The market

There is a estimated number into the size of this market but a global company like Amazon offering such services gives you an understanding as to the market potential. Some may wonder as to how gems would be able to compete with a company like Amazon in this space but the point to note is that gems would be operating on a blockchain as apposed to a company like Amazon that has central control. The benefit of running such a protocol on a blockchain would help pass the related befinits to the users of the platform.

The team behind it.

Well all I have to say is that it is a rock star , All- A*** team. That’s it. Have a look at the team below.

The Hype around the project is just crazy. The telegram chat is nearing 30 k members . That is just insane . I have never seen a telegram chat grow at such a speed. Plus none of the ICO youtubers are specially talking about this project but the crypto community knows how big the project is.

The Gems Community Program is the way to secure a spot in the Gems Pre-Sale/Token Launch.
