Beauty on a Budget - Uses for Coconut Oil
I personally use it for removing eye makeup and treating my daughter's curly, frizzy, bi-racial hair. I prefer organic over regular coconut oil; organic is more fine and smooth, and melts easier in your hands. Read on for some beauty ideas for your coconut oil!

Hair: *Use as a pre-poo treatment by applying to damp hair then covering with a shower cap and sitting for at least a half-hour before shampooing. (This helps with dry, itchy scalp when massaged in.) **This is crucial to be done weekly on frizzy/curly/afro hair. *Dab a very small amount into your hands and smooth mid-shaft to ends of hair to tame frizz.
