Usually I don't like to post anything too personal online, especially topics like this that can be controversial. After looking through Steemit I couldn't find much content related to the LGBT community. I've blurred out my girlfriend's face for privacy reasons. These are just personal reasons from my own experience.

1. I'm understood better

When you are a woman, you clearly understand women better. The most amazing guy in the world still doesn't know what it's like to a woman.

2. Double the wardrobe and makeup!

My girlfriend and I wear the same type of makeup and the same size shoes. We also have similar taste in clothes. It's nice to be able to borrow jewelry, clothes, ponytails, and makeup when I need it.

3. No Pregnancy scares

This one is self explanatory.

4. Periods

It doesn't matter where we are, one of us is likely to have spare pads/tampons with us. When the supply of pads needs to be restocked, my girlfriend and I both know exactly which kind each other needs and where to find them.

5. Shopping

We have the same taste in style so it's easy to shop for each other. We know what one another needs.

6. Crying is OK

I cry for just about every emotion, when I'm sad, when I'm very happy, when I'm upset, when I'm in sick, etc. While this might appear as a sign of weakness to some, my girlfriend considers it warm-heartedness.

7. Kissing is wonderful

Something about kissing a woman is so soft. It is a gentle and warm feeling.

8. We can go pretty much anywhere together

When I'm at a restaurant, I can go to the bathroom with my girlfriend. When I'm shopping, I can go into the changing room with my girlfriend.

9. Snuggling

I can be the little spoon or the big spoon! The chest makes a pretty comfy pillow too.

10. The little things

If I trim my hair or do something different with it, my girlfriend notices. If I try a new shade of makeup, my girlfriend notices. When I go to bed at night, my girlfriend equally likes to talk before falling asleep.
