We already published two articles about Fundition explaining this project. Now we decided to try it on our own and with this post @steemzeiger becomes a project on Fundition.io .

What is the steemzeiger ?

The steemzeiger is a german newspaper on the STEEM blockchain. Each week we publish an edition with five articles by different authors. We report ongoing issues on the blockchain and inform about various topics like Science, Psychology or Technology.

Out of the community we build a team of authors who hand in articles. These articles get reviewed and lectured by the editorial staff.

All incoming rewards are divided between the authors and the editorial staff. 80% of all generated SBD and STEEM go to the authors and the left over 20% to the editorial staff for their work to keep the project running and all the review process.

Statistics about the steemzeiger

The first edition was published on the 1st April 2018. Since then there were eleven further editions. Eleven of them are already paid out. In the three months we distributed 148,127 SBD and 2,821 STEEM to all authors. We published 58 articles by 16 authors. This makes over 2,5 SBD for each published article.

What is coming next ?

Of course we would like to keep up the weekly editions and reward the authors properly. Additionally there are some things we are working on:

We want to publish a series of articles helping new authors to fully understand the project. The posts should support them when writing their articles.
We want to spread the diversity of topics in our editions in order to keep up the interest in the articles. For this we need to reach out to more different authors willing to contribute.

We already did lots of improvements since the beginning and won't stop to do them. We justified the cover of the editions, added a oversight and changed the layout here and there.

Usage of all incoming funds

All incoming funds are distributed into the project. We want to reward authors for their work so they are getting the biggest part of the funds. Next to this we are working on a detailed plan to use the funds in our wallet to give a minimum reward to authors.

Until now there were lots of different users supporting us with Upvotes, Resteems and a lot more. Thank you.
