Voting can make you money. But voting at the right time and the right post could make you a lot more. You would need to read over the rules and compose a tactical voting strategy to get you the most out of your vote. We know you want to vote for a good article or post but most people like to get paid for voting.

The rules on voting

The money/rewards a post or comment makes 75% of it goes towards the author and 25% of it goes towards the curators. In the 25% of the reward of the curators that portion also split between the author and the curator in the first 30 minutes. if you vote immediately after the post has been posted almost all the reward will go towards the author. At 3 minutes 90% will go to the author and 10% to the curator. At 15 minutes it will be a 50% split. After 30 minutes 100% goes towards the author.

Vote Early But Late

If you were to had read the rules above being the first to vote and voting as early as possible would not get you a lot. But voting too late wouldn't get you a lot either as other people vote ahead of you it will lower your payout. You will be competing with other people and bots for 30 minutes.

So? What is the best time to vote?

The truth is that we don't know. But there might be a good time range to vote. Some will vote early to have a share of the curation reward but lower profit. Others will vote late to make as much out of it. But voting immediately will make all your curation reward go towards the author
