I also wondered what would grow if I just let it. In the spring, I put some Tagetes seed into the young soil of my trusted humus supplier and also raised a rosemary without having any idea what to do with it.

Both really grew wonderfully without any effort on my part. They were very well rooted in their pots, so a place had to be found. It was May and there are actually many possibilities to put the plants out, there is enough space. That's when the idea occurred to me!

There was an old tree trunk that was overgrown with ivy and made a nice flower stand. I removed some of the ivy at the top to create a roughly straight surface for a pot. Then the ivy can frame the pot again with its leaves.

A remaining pot was quickly found. A habit of mine is usually to avoid the perfectly produced soil material and instead make a mixture of soil available here and purchased humus. The soil is quite loamy but I think everyone, whether human or plant, has to adapt to their environment and not the other way around.

Una de mis costumbres suele ser renunciar al material de tierra perfectamente elaborado y, en su lugar, hacer una mezcla de tierra disponible aquí y de humus comprado. El suelo es bastante arcilloso, pero creo que todos, ya sean humanos o plantas, tienen que adaptarse a su entorno y no al revés.

The plants were quickly removed from their too-tight prison and planted in the pot provided. By the way, in the background of some of the photos you can see the living willow fence that I wrote about last time, but unfortunately you could not see any new sprouts at that time. In the meantime, however, it has grown very nicely.

the nice thing about the Tagetes is that they flower for a very long time, when one flower has faded, the next one is already ready.

I also had a very good cherry harvest in red and white. They were mainly picked directly into the stomach or jam or cakes was made from them.
