Greetings to all, I'm Ramiro, I was born in the city of Mérida-Venezuela and I've lived in Barquisimeto for approximately 20 years. I moved to another city for reasons of studies, at that time I was studying Veterinary Medicine at UCLA, from which I graduated in 2009 and this year I received my second degree as a Bachelor of Plastic Arts in the same house of studies. I have been working as a graphic designer for more than 5 years and today I teach in design institutions. Although my account is from the old chain, I didn't dare to post anything and after several years I heard about Hive from my friend @tsunsica, I remember that we were celebrating the birthday of a mutual friend and came up the topic of WEB3 and how Hive offers opportunities to content creators in a community that is growing every day. I liked the subject, but at that moment I was focused on finishing my university studies in arts. A couple of weeks ago I participated in the HIVE University that was held at the UCLA Dean of Humanities and Arts, where I painted a piece with the plastic proposal that I developed in my special degree project. ***Thanks to @hiversbqto for the invitation.***

Un saludo a todos, soy Ramiro, nací en la ciudad de Mérida-Venezuela y vivo en Barquisimeto desde hace aproximadamente 20 años. Me mudé de ciudad por motivo de estudios, en aquel momento estaba estudiando Medicina Veterinaria en la UCLA, de donde me gradué en 2009 y este año recibo mi segundo titulo como licenciado en Artes Plásticas en la misma casa de estudios. Trabajo como diseñador gráfico desde hace mas de 5 años y hoy día dicto clases en instituciones de diseño. Aunque mi cuenta es de la antigua cadena, no me anime a postear nada y luego de varios años supe de Hive por mi amiga @tsunsica , recuerdo que estábamos celebrando el cumpleaños de una amiga en común y surgió el tema de la WEB3 y como Hive ofrecia oportunidades a los creadores de contenido en una comunidad que cada día crece más. El tema me gustó, pero en ese momento estaba enfocado en terminar mis estudios universitarios en artes. Hace un par de semanas participé en el HIVE University que se realizó en el Decanato de Humanidades y artes de la UCLA, donde pinte una pieza con la propuesta plástica que desarrolle en mi trabajo especial de grado. ***Gracias a @hiversbqto por la invitación.***

If there is something that characterizes me, it's creativity, imagination and curiosity. I love exploring various themes and playing with different means of artistic expression, mainly humorous drawing, caricature, manga drawing and abstract painting. Since I have an interest in humor, I am meeting with some humorists from the city to learn and be able to present myself soon to the public. I also like video games, although since I usually occupy myself with a lot of things I don't play often, but from time to time I make a space to entertain myself. Apart from playing video games, I enjoy reading novels and poetry, I also usually write short stories and poems. Unfortunately, in my city there are barely two bookstores and the prices are not affordable, so I haven't bought new books for some time because, although I have a Tablet to read, I really love the texture of paper.

Si hay algo que me caracteriza es la creatividad, la imaginación y la curiosidad. Me encanta explorar diversos temas y jugar con diferentes medios de expresión artística, principalmente el dibujo humorístico, la caricatura, el dibujo manga y la pintura abstracta. Como tengo interés en el humor estoy reuniéndome con algunos humoristas de la ciudad para aprender y poder presentarme pronto ante el publico. También me gustan los video juegos, aunque como suelo ocuparme en un montón de cosas no suelo jugar a menudo, pero de vez en cuando hago un espacio para entretenerme. Aparte de los video juegos, disfruto de la lectura de novelas y poesía, también suelo escribir cuentos y poemas breves. Lamentablemente en mi ciudad apenas hay dos librerías y los precios no son nada accesibles, así que hace algún tiempo no compro libros nuevos porque, aunque tengo una Tablet para leer me gusta mucho la textura del papel.

My greatest passion are cartoons, I have always wanted to make animations, but I have not had the discipline to dedicate myself to it, when I talk about cartoons I include animated cinema, stop motion, 3D, 2d digital animation and traditional animation. I also like languages, I know English, some Italian, French and Japanese. I have a cat called Mido, he is a super intelligent half-breed weighing 13 pounds who likes to sleep and hunt bugs when he leaves the house. All my life I wanted to have a cat and now that he is with me I can't imagine living without Mido 😻. The advantage of being a veterinarian is that you save basic consultations, although it is always necessary to take them to a consultation for laboratory tests or surgery.

Mi mayor pasión son los dibujos animados, siempre he querido hacer animaciones, pero no he tenido la disciplina para dedicarme a ello, cuando hablo de dibujos animados incluyo al cine animado, el stop motion, 3D, animación digital 2d y la tradicional. También me gustan los idiomas, se Ingles, algo de Italiano, francés y japones. Tengo un gato que se llama Mido, es un mestizo super inteligente que pesa 6 kilos al que le gusta dormir y cazar bichos cuando sale de casa. Toda mi vida quise tener un gato y ahora que esta conmigo no me imagino vivir sin Mido 😻. La ventaja de ser medico veterinario es que te ahorras las consultas básicas, aunque siempre es necesario llevarlo a consulta para exámenes de laboratorio o cirugía.

I hope to find in this space a community with which I can share my interests, learn from others and meet new people. Espero encontrar en este espacio una comunidad con la que pueda compartir mis intereses, aprender de otros y conocer gente nueva. Seria interesante compartirles tutoriales de dibujo, análisis de obras de arte, mostrarles los talleres que dicto, en fin compartirles todo aquello que les pueda enriquecer la vida.
