Espero que estén muy bien mis besties. ✨ Tuve un día un tanto "random" por llamarlo de algún modo que aún no encuentro cómo jaja, es que con esto de que no tenemos la sede de la universidad disponible han pasado un par de cosas que les iré contando porque sé que recordaré todo esto con cariño y gracia más adelante.

I hope y'all doing well, my besties. ✨ I had a somewhat “random” day, to put it mildly, as I still can't quite figure out how to describe it haha. The thing is, since our university campus isn't available, a couple of things have happened that I'll tell you about because I know I'll remember all this fondly and with humor later on.

Verán, por el asunto de las remodelaciones en mí universidad, no podemos ocuparla, así que los profesores se ponen creativos con los lugares a donde podemos ir a entregarles las asignaciones o presentar algún examen presencial. Esta vez, para la materia Geometría Descriptiva y Dibujo II, que estoy viendo este semestre, la profesora nos citó en un parque cerca de su urbanización en Los Guaritos, sigue siendo el sector por donde se ubica mí universidad, pero un poco más lejos y yo no había venido nunca para acá, que yo recuerde. Así que fue todo un show llegar aquí, tuve que hablar con el colector del autobús para que me ubicara, luego se le olvidó mi parada y me dejó más lejos de donde era, yo dije, listo, me perdí jaja, pero por suerte pude llegar y al contarle a la profesora y a los compañeros que se encontraban ahí se estaban riendo.

You see, because of the renovations at my university, we can't use it, so the professors are getting creative with the places where we can go to hand in our assignments or take an in-person exam. This time, for the Descriptive Geometry and Drawing II class I'm taking this semester, the professor asked us to meet at a park near her neighborhood in Los Guaritos, which is still in the area where my university is located, but a little further away, and I had never been there before, as far as I can remember. So it was quite a show to get here. I had to talk to the bus driver to find my way, then he forgot my stop and dropped me off further away than I needed to be. I said, “Okay, I'm lost,” haha, but luckily I made it, and when I told the professor and my classmates who were there, they laughed.

Debíamos entregar una asignación de 20 dibujos y otras cosas, así que acá estaban algunos compañeros con sus trabajos, también debíamos firmar asistencia y demás. No éramos muchos, la verdad, hubo varios que avisaron que no podrían venir y ya tendrían que arreglarse con la profe luego. El parque era lindo, además de que el día estaba lindo también, hacía sol pero no calor y el cielo estaba perfecto, me encantan los árboles y sentarme un rato a apreciar la naturaleza. Aquí estuvimos un buen rato conversando con la profesora, hasta que nos fuimos. Lo bueno fue que pude verme con mí amiga Arslens, que la adoro, ella me llevó un pedazo de torta que había hecho, así que la amé más, ella es genial.

We had to hand in an assignment of 20 drawings and other things, so some of my classmates were there with their work. We also had to sign the attendance sheet and so on. There weren't many of us, to be honest. Several people had said they couldn't come and would have to make arrangements with the teacher later. The park was beautiful, and it was a beautiful day too. It was sunny but not hot, and the sky was perfect. I love trees and sitting for a while to appreciate nature. We spent a long time here talking with the teacher until we left. The good thing was that I got to see my friend Arslens, whom I adore. She brought me a piece of cake she had made, so I loved her even more. She's amazing.

Arslens y yo nos fuimos un rato a Mango Bajito, porque ella quería ver precios de unos juguetes para su sobrino, se viene la navidad y ya tiene que buscar maneras. Antes, pasamos por unos ricos frappés. Algo que me sorprendió fue que justo antes de llegar a Mango Bajito, estaba la construcción de lo que creo, será el nuevo estacionamiento del lugar, aquí demolieron una panadería que al parecer fue bastante icónica en la ciudad distinta, yo estaba muy pequeña y no viví momentos aquí, pero se puede sentir la nostalgia de aquellos que si. Ya quiero ver cómo quedará esto. En Mango bajito también estaban acomodando la escalera eléctrica y todo estaba medio desastroso, así que no duramos mucho acá, solo tonteamos en el área de niños y luego nos fuimos.

Arslens and I went to Mango Bajito for a while because she wanted to check out the prices of some toys for her nephew. Christmas is coming, and she has to start looking for gifts. Before that, we stopped for some delicious frappés. Something that surprised me was that just before we got to Mango Bajito, there was construction on what I think will be the new parking lot for the place. They demolished a bakery that was apparently quite iconic in the city. I was very young and didn't experience that time here, but you can feel the nostalgia of those who did. I can't wait to see how it will turn out. At Mango Bajito, they were also fixing the escalator, and everything was a bit of a mess, so we didn't stay long. We just fooled around in the children's area and then left.

Fue un día genial, algo inesperado, porque primera vez que iba a un parque a entregar una tarea, pero divertido, mis compañeros son geniales y además, pude estar con Arslens, que la adoro. ¡Gracias por acompañarnos!

It was a great day, somewhat unexpected, because it was the first time I had gone to a park to hand in an assignment, but it was fun. My classmates are great, and I got to spend time with Arslens, whom I adore. Thank you for joining us!
