„Success”

How we can describe it? What does it mean exactly? People think about it multiple times in their existence. We can see a lot of various people on the internet who show their luxury cars, big mansions and live with no worries. We think they are living a successful life. But is it actually true?

Different People, Different Definitions

Some of my family members think that people need to have good grades in school, then they should go to the college to have a well-paid job in the future. My grandma says I need to find a woman, get married, have my own family and raise children to be successful in life. Schoolmates think different. Luxury apartment, Lambo in the garage and beautiful girls around, those are the success! You can ask various people around you what success does it mean actually for them. I bet you will hear lots of different answers.

Types Of Success

Let's say you invited friends for a dinner and you want to cook „Boeuf Bourguignon“ but you just started your adventure with cooking. You try the first time and... no, beef has been overcooked. The second attempt, you forgot to add carrots. You try so many times, you try so hard to cook it and after a few times... voila, finally you did it! Every guest likes your dish, you can be proud of yourself. You have reached a success, congratulations!

Another example. You really want to be a car mechanic but you have a problem with changing oils in the machine. So before you start changing parts in your machine learn about the basics. Yeah, I know it is sound so simple but everything is complicated at the beginning so creating those simple things will be a success for you 😖

Fulfilled Dream And Success

Those were the examples of small successes but what about the bigger ones? For example, you want to be one of the best music producers in the world. First what you have to do is to understand the basic stuff about production and mixing like: arrangement of the song, Equalization, Compression, Distortion, reverb etc. Meanwhile, you need to train your ears to notice the differences in sound otherwise, your song won't be sound good. Spend every day on developing your skills, it takes time to be as good as the professionals. Imagine after a few years of hard work you decided to send some ideas to the „awesome record label” and they want to release your music. Hooray! People enjoy listening to your songs. It was worth it! You've been successful!

Similar thing is with the different dreams and goals you have. That moment you fulfilled dream - worthless.

Success & Richness

Visions of being successful and being rich are very close to each other. Lot's of people describe rich life as a successful life and vice versa. But what actually richness does really mean exactly? Even Bob Marley has been asked about that. He said:

„Possession make you rich? I don't have that type of richness. My richness is life, forever.”

Those words changed my way of thinking personally. We can say Bob felt rich and successful because he was just happy living his life.

The Real Meaning

It's simple, success is a happiness. If you enjoy living your life, you're happy, you are successful! Personally, I have some dreams I want to make come true but I cannot say I'm not successful, satisfied in life already! I feel happy when I can just listen to music, produce it, do some pictures, chill in the park or take a fresh breath. I'm grateful for every little moment I can live and spend with my family and friends. That's the success for me 😃

Success looks different for everybody. It has a lot of different types and definitions. Think about what does it mean exactly to you, try to understand that and work hard to achieve it! I think everybody is kinda successful but not everybody can't even realize that! I hope everybody will reach their own small and big successes in life, I wish that everybody!
