Cari amici, scusate l'interruzione dei miei e-book. La prossima pubblicazione dovrebbe contemplare il prosieguo del mio legato, ma ora coerenza vorrebbe il postare un chiarimento per aver dimezzato due deleghe. Per i motivi che oramai tutti (o almeno i più) sanno, mi trovo in perenne power down perchè gira e rigira siamo sempre lì: il mio lavoro offline che dura poco per verificarsi immancabilmente periodico e dunque per avere entrate fisse devo continuamente sbattere le corna qui. Ora, come potete vedere, il valore di hive è colato a picco, il che significa riuscire a portare a casa a malapena la metà rispetto all'anno scorso. E come se non bastasse, devo pure comprare un farmaco che costa un braccio e una gamba e la causa è sempre la mia malefica malattia infiammatoria cronica che nonostante l'essere diventata meno aggressiva del solito (grazie a Dio almeno quello), non posso comunque ignorarne le conseguenze. Vivere nel continente americano significa vivere in zone dove il mercantilismo della salute regna sovrano, ragione per cui immaginate voi di dover comprare un farmaco che potreste non riuscire a trovare a meno di 90 euro (non in comparazione di valute monetarie, ma di costo della vita effettivo). Va però da sè che il 26% di sconto può tranquillamente significare che il farmaco è prossimo alla scadenza, che purtroppo mi serve lunga, specie considerata la fucilata che costa. Fosse corta, niente da fare: dovrò comprarlo a prezzo pieno con scadenza lunga. In aggiunta, sia pure a seguito di prelievo in hive, dovrò comunque aspettare la chiusura della fattura della mia carta di credito, verso metà febbraio all'incirca. Ok, non è grave: a casa ne ho ancora per fino a fine gennaio e non penso sarà il finimondo per un paio di settimane senza. Santo cielo, non vorrei ora che pensiate la mia coppia si trovi alla fame, no. Restiamo due piccolissimo-borghesi (da queste parti non si usa il termine, ma è quanto di meglio che ho trovato per tradurre) che devono stare super attenti perchè il minimo scivolone di troppo, a causa dell'altissima incertezza previdenziale di tutta America latina, Caraibi compresi, ci schiafferebbe tra gli accattoni una volta arrivati alla terza età (sempre e quando ci arriviamo entrambi vivi). Quindi si, compri questo e compri quello senza guardare al prezzo e poi viene meno alla pensione privata (perchè dati i chiari di luna, nessuno di noi due vedrà quella pubblica prima dei 78 anni e quanto a me, sarà già fin troppo se dovessi passare i 70, nell'attuale stato di salute che mi ritrovo). La World Bank è stata chiarissima e più brutale non poteva: nei Caraibi e Mercosur stiamo messi ben peggio dell'Europa in fatto di previdenza (se cercate World Bank sobre jubilación a los 78 en los Caribes y Mercosur, ve ne usciranno di graziose. E quanto a una delle due motivazioni allegate dalla World Bank, non faccio fatica a crederci: soltanto nel mio paese il lavoro nero è alle stelle. Circa la metà della popolazione in età e in forze per lavorare non contribuisce con la previdenza e non l'ha mai fatto (l'attuale governo è il principale colpevole soltanto negli ultimi tre anni di tale scempio, a causa dell'inferno burocratico in cui ha trasformato e continua a trasformare il paese). Quanto alla seconda motivazione, vale a dire l'invecchiamento della popolazione, se la cantano e se la suonano soltanto gli economisti, dato che nelle villas/favelas e quartieri assimilati si figlia a tutt'ora come negli allevamenti di conigli (e come al solito, si tratta spesso di adolescenti che hanno abbandonato la scuola o giovani adulti che risultano disoccupati e lavorano in nero). Inoltre, in queste zone esiste ancora il fenomeno di nascite non registrate, anche se non (o non più) comune. Fosse come fosse, l'antifona è sempre la stessa: alla pensione dovremo pensar noi, se non vogliamo diventare accattoni all'arrivo della terza età. Chiedo venia in anticipo per ulteriori deleghe che molto probabilmente ridurrò entro l'anno. So yes, you buy this and you buy that without looking at the price and then you lose your private pension (because, given the current situation, neither of us will see the public pension before the age of 78, and as for me, it will be too much if I live past 70, given my current state of health). The World Bank has been very clear and could not have been more brutal: in the Caribbean and Mercosur, we are in a much worse position than Europe in terms of social security (if you search for World Bank sobre jubilación a los 78 en los Caribes y Mercosur, you'll find some interesting results). As for one of the two reasons given by the World Bank, I have no trouble believing it: in my country alone, undeclared work is skyrocketing. About half of the working-age population does not contribute to social security and never did (the current government is the main guilty cause such mess in the last three years alone, due to the bureaucratic hell it has turned the country into and continues to turn it into). As for the second reason, namely the ageing population, only economists are worried about, given that in the villas/favelas and similar neighbourhoods, people are still having children like rabbits (and as usual, these are often teenagers who have dropped out of school or young adults who are unemployed and work illegally). Furthermore, in these areas, there is still the phenomenon of unregistered births, even if it is not (or no longer) common. Be that as it may, the message is always the same: we will have to take care of our own pensions if we do not want to become beggars in our old age.
