The beauty of the mountains, rivers, waterfalls with all these the nature of Sylhet's spread her wings in all seasons. Because of these Nature lovers are so attracted to Sylhet. Lalakhal is one of the many beautiful places in Sylhet. The enchanting form of blue-green water with small evergreen hills on either side, and blue sky over the head all over the place. This enchanting scene will be seen in Lalakhale.

2 year ago me and my friends decide go for a tour in Lalkhale. It was a memorable journey of my entire university life. At first we were just number of 10-14 persons who were interested to go Lalakhale. But before the journey day of the tour we become number of 67. So, we made a deal with a bus transport to reserve a bus for one day. The deal was fixed for $500 per day.

Lalakhal is located in Jaintapur upazila, 35 km from Sylhet city.Lalakhal is located just below Cherrapunji in India.The river originates from the Cherrapunji hills and flows through Bangladesh.The place is quite suitable for feeling nature up close.If you can go to the full moon, then the form of the moon-washed river will be an event to remember for a lifetime.

We started the journey at night.Because when we reached the destination we will get plenty of time. Our destination was 186 km away from our starting point. We reached there in the morning.

We first pay our reservation bill for accommodation. The name of the hotel was Nazimgarh Resorts which is located in Khadimnagar very close to Lalakhal. It is better to contact in advance. Otherwise the rooms at the resort may be booked.The cheapest ‘Premier’ room for one night will cost around $85. 3-4 person can easily share those rooms. There was no living cost only for child. The hotel will provide breakfast which is free with room services.

We eat launch at the local restaurant. I forget the name of the restaurant. It was not too much cost. It costed $4 per head. The food menu was chicken, rice, lentil soup and a 500ml cold drinks.

We got back in the evening. Because we had a short schedule. We could only stay there one night. Moreover our deal with the bus transport was valid for 24 hour.
