## Hola, soy yo de nuevo. Como mi primer artículo de contenido propio, les traigo mi experiencia durante el aislamiento y la reinvención de mí misma a lo largo de todo este proceso, que usurpó inesperadamente algunos de mis proyectos y me impulsó a adoptar nuevos hábitos. Eran los últimos días y no veía la hora de salir por la puerta de aquel instituto para no volver por un largo tiempo, en ese momento yo consideraba «largo» a las cuatro únicas semanas de vacaciones que otorgaban en la institución antes de abrir nuevamente las inscripciones. Lo que mi “yo” antes del aislamiento no sabía era que aquellas vacaciones se iban a prolongar drásticamente. Fue entonces, un 13 de Marzo que anunciaron oficialmente por todos los medios de comunicación, noticieros, redes sociales y cualquier lugar de la red, la llegada del Covid-19 a Venezuela. Nadie estaba preparado, y yo, una estudiante de publicidad, primeriza en un periódico y un área laboral, con metas a corto plazo que pensaba cumplir, y haciendo de estanque para no ahogarme en un vaso con agua, no logré ver la magnitud con la que todo este asunto iba a darle la vuelta a mi vida en un ángulo de 180°. Terrible suerte, malísima suerte, solo puedo simplificarlo como **“Mi suerte”**. Eventualmente, recibí noticias. ¿Adivinen? Recorte de personal. Aunque aquel trabajo, el mejor en mi expediente sin duda, era en modalidad Online y vía Telegram, lo que significa que todos éramos de distintas partes del mundo, el aislamiento provocó una ola de crisis que estimuló el recorte de personal, y también la primera sacudida a mi vida. ![Colorful_Paper_Rugged_Scrapbook_Family_Fathers_Day_Photo_Poster.png](https://images.hive.blog/DQmaaEG8NBufNRkaoZjjc1b7z4tpQz62GWUR9v1bVYzaPXd/Colorful_Paper_Rugged_Scrapbook_Family_Fathers_Day_Photo_Poster.png) Podemos catalogar al 2020 como el peor año jamás escrito, fue una mezcla entre la sátira de Stephen King, con los siniestros escenarios de Edgar Allan Poe, y las crisis apocalípticas de Max Brooks. De hecho, pude corroborarlo yo misma; entre semanas netamente radicales y semanas flexibles con toque de queda, tuve el “tiempo” considerable para leer algunas de estas reliquias, y no cabe duda, esta crisis mundial es operada por la mente de alguno de estos siniestros autores. Cuando llegó la segunda sacudida, supe que tendría que llenar la biblioteca de mi celular. **“DirecTV se ha ido”**. Sé que algunos pensarán lo absurdo de mi pensamiento existiendo incontables canales de streaming. Pero pueden llamarme tradicional, era satisfactorio recostarse en la habitación y no saber con qué te sorprenderían los canales de HBO o Cinemax. Así como los predecibles maratones juveniles de Golden y el fin de semana en TNT con la famosa y repetida saga de Harry Potter. Todo eso fue reemplazado por un espeso sombrío en la pantalla, en toda la habitación. >Era terrible ya no tener la famosa excusa: *“deja la TV encendida, le tengo miedo a la oscuridad”.* No demoró mucho en arribar la siguiente sacudida. **“Necesitas un trabajo”**. ![corona-4983590_1920.jpg](https://images.hive.blog/DQmav7fjR1fjUSRpyn6hBpazSxHoU19tsRu8ZyBfqzcxFjv/corona-4983590_1920.jpg)^{[Pixabay](https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2020/03/30/09/15/corona-4983590_960_720.jpg)} Llegó finales de Mayo, visité la casa de una madrina—y vecina— muy cercana, estábamos charlando trivialidades y acerca de mis estudios, cuando el tema inevitablemente patinó sobre la mesa, mi madrina me habló de un sistema de venta en línea desde Chile, me advirtió que el comienzo sería difícil, pero sin muchas vueltas o reflexiones, acepté el compromiso. Y como lo predijo, el camino fue lento y torcido, pero poco a poco todo comenzó a enderezarse. Estaba feliz, podría seguir estudiando, y podría invertir en los gatos del hogar. Vaya, mi cuento de nunca acabar y yo. Sí, las relaciones sociales también fueron una sacudida, pero esa siquiera la vimos pasar, ¿cierto? >Comprendí que yo era la razón por la que el timbre de otro celular sonaba, mientras que el mío enmudeció. En los primeros meses de aislamiento, mis padres hacían turnos para hacer las compras, pero jamás dejaron salir a mi hermano ni a mí. Cuando mi madre se documentó acerca de los hábitos que debíamos adoptar de ahora en más, no hubo nada que la detuviera de la tarea de ver que todos cumpliéramos con nuestra nueva rutina. Ella fue la que más lloró, se alocó y aprendió de este aislamiento. Última sacudida, por ahora. En agosto recibimos la noticia de que no veríamos a mi familia paterna, la cual es la más cercana geográficamente. Han contraído el Covid-19. Mi prima fue la primera en contraer el virus, pero no le afectó de la misma forma, a lo que los médicos determinaron: *“Es un paciente asintomático del virus, debe permanecer lejos de los que conviven con usted, especialmente personas de la tercera edad”*. Gracias a Dios, ninguno presentó síntomas severos, y hoy en día todos están bien. Ahora bien, hasta aquí ha llegado el sinfín de sacudidas, por ahora, que ha adquirido mi vida desde que anunciaron el arribo del Covid-19 en Venezuela. ![83870350_2008095872667093_8284920694836297728_n.jpg](https://images.hive.blog/DQmPC8erYyBobSUPQvinaeeupgHb5UiW9cHJYSUC3msh4hE/83870350_2008095872667093_8284920694836297728_n.jpg) Sin embargo, aquí les dejaré las rutinas diarias o situacionales que tuve que memorizar todos los días, a cambio de no recibir un tremendo *“jarabe de lengua”* por parte de mi mamá: - Lavar las manos sí: tocaste las cerraduras externas de la casa, objetos que trajiste a la casa. Así mismo, lavar las manos cuando lo requiriera, antes de cocinar o comer. - Lavar todo objeto que: viniese del exterior, tuvo contacto con una persona ajena. A su vez, meter en una bolsa la ropa con la que llegabas de algún lugar y lavarla, pero jamás ligarla con la ropa de casa. - Sí recibimos visitas, debemos limpiar luego de que esa persona se vaya. No es asunto personal, sino de higiene y precaución. - No salir, por ninguna circunstancia, a ningún lado sin el tapaboca. - Lavarse la cara una cuantas veces al día. - Bañarse lo más pronto, una vez llegados al hogar. - Evitar agarrar objetos si venimos del exterior. Esta rutina me mantiene sana hasta hoy en día, incluso ahora seguimos aplicando los mismos hábitos de higiene. Así que si me toca agradecerle a mi mamá por ser alguien demasiado minuciosa, me tocará hacerlo, porque eso me ha mantenido inmune a mí y nuestra familia. It was then, on March 13, that the arrival of Covid-19 in Venezuela was officially announced by all the media, newscasts, social networks and anywhere on the net. And as she predicted, the road was slow and crooked, but little by little everything began to straighten out. I was happy, I could continue studying, and I could invest in the household cats. Wow, me and my never ending story. Yes, social relationships were a shake-up too, but we even saw that one coming, didn’t we? >I understood that I was the reason why another cell phone ringer was ringing, while mine was silent. In the first months of isolation, my parents took turns shopping, but they never let my brother or me out. When my mother documented the habits we were to adopt from now on, there was no stopping her from seeing that we all complied with our new routine. She cried the most, freaked out and learned from this isolation. Last jolt, for now. In August we received the news that we would not be seeing my paternal family, which is the closest geographically. “They have contracted Covid-19”. My cousin was the first to contract the virus, but it did not affect her in the same way, to which the doctors determined: *"You are an asymptomatic patient of the Virus, you should stay away from those who live with you, especially the elderly"*. Thank God, none of them presented severe symptoms, and today they are all well. Likewise, wash your hands when required, before cooking or eating. - Wash all objects that: came from the outside, had contact with a stranger. At the same time, put in a bag the clothes with which you arrived from somewhere and wash them, but never link them with the clothes at home. - If we receive visitors, we must clean up after that person leaves. It is not a personal matter, but a matter of hygiene and precaution. - Do not go out, under any circumstances, to any place without a mask. - Wash your face a few times a day. - To bathe as soon as possible after arriving home. - Avoid grabbing objects if we come from outside. This routine keeps me healthy to this day, even now we still apply the same hygiene habits. So if I have to thank my mom for being too thorough, I will, because it has kept me and our family immune.
