De cómo mi madre se enteró de mi llegada con tan solo 30 años de edad, según lo que me cuenta mi mamá cuando ella empezó a tener varios síntomas como lo son mareos y vómitos los primeros días no le paraba porque pensaba que alguna comida le había caído mal, al tercer día se preocupó y fue cuando se enteró por medio de unos exámenes que estaba en la dulce espera de su última hija, al principio no lo creía, se hizo muchas pruebas para descartar y resultó ser cierto. Ella sentía miedo al decirle a mi abuela ya que no sabía cómo iba a reaccionar. Le comentó a mi padre y lo único que se le ocurrió fue huir de todo está situación y dejarla sola.

Fui creciendo cada día más, mi mamá enamorada de mí, aún no lo podía creer, pensó que tendría solo a mis dos hermanas mayores, esa noticia para ella fue muy especial. Conoció a una persona que actualmente es su amigo y es mi padre no el verdadero pero lo considero como si lo fuera, el ayudó mucho económicamente en el transcurso de mi crecimiento, se ofreció a darme su apellido y así fue hoy en día soy Mujica como él. Llegó el día de la revelación del sexo, ellos emocionados al saber que era niña, decidieron salir a comprar ropa, cintillos, colitas, la bañera, él coche, él corral y todo lo necesario para que no me faltara nada. También le compro unos medicamentos que ella necesitaba.

En esos meses que pasaron, Rafael Celestino (padre biológico) decía que eso era mentira que esa niña no era de él y muchas cosas que hacían sentir mal a mi mamá. Ella nunca tuvo el apoyo de él y no le hizo falta en realidad. Llegó el día del parto, con 36 semanas y no le daban los dolores, luego 39 semanas y nada de dolor ni dilatación. Se fue al hospital y una enfermera le dijo que todavía no estaba para dar a luz. A las 42 semanas, con varias dilataciones y muchas complicaciones decidió irse a otro centro de salud, donde la atendieron; yo me encontraba sentada y con el cordón umbilical enredado en el cuello ya casi morada, le hicieron una cesaría de emergencia después de tanto estrés por fin nací un 04 de agosto de 2003 a las 12:01am, pese 4.900 kg y medí 55 cm. Era una gordita catira de ojos azules, la adoración de mamá y de mis hermanas, toda la familia estaba emocionada con mi llegada al mundo.

Por fin nos dieron de alta, ya mami no aguantaba un día más en el hospital. A los 2 meses me sacaron de emergencia porqué me había ahogado con la lengua y me estaba asfixiando; ella salió y pidió un taxi, como estaba vestida se fue, al llegar al hospital justamente estaba de guardia el que era mi pediatra en ese entonces, pasaba el tiempo y no salían a darle información ya todo preocupada, a los 5 minutos sale el doctor con la cabeza agachada y le dice "Lo siento mucho hicimos lo que pudimos" y la abrazó, su reacción fue llorar sin cesar, al rato sale corriendo una enfermera y dijo Doctor apúrese la paciente reaccionó, se va corriendo y al paso de 15 minutos sin signos vitales pudieron reanimarme. Entre llantos y preocupación se olvidó de cancelarle al taxista, y le dijo que fuera a la casa el día siguiente porque de la desesperación no se trajo dinero y el señor accedió, estuve varios días hospitalizada, fueron días muy difíciles, los primeros seguía débil con el transcurso de los días fui recuperándome poco a poco hasta que me dieron de alta.

Between crying and worrying she forgot to pay the cab driver, and told him to go home the next day because out of desperation she did not bring any money and he agreed, I was hospitalized for several days, they were very difficult days, the first days I was still weak but as the days went by I recovered little by little until I was discharged.

Cuando tenía 2 años me volví a complicar pero esta vez con asma, mi madre me llevo al hospital y me atendieron, me nebulizaban todos los días, mi madre tenía que tener mi inhalador a la mano por si me daba otra crisis que eran muy fuertes, no fue nada fácil pero ella seguía ahí. Al cumplir 5 años nos fuimos a Caracas (Distrito Capital) mi mamá había vuelto con la actual pareja que es el papá de mis dos hermanas mayores, a él también tengo que agradecerle mucho ya que ha estado para mí siempre hasta el sol de hoy, soy su hija, su consentida. Sigo comunicándome con el señor que me dio el apellido ya que ayudó mucho a mi mamá en todo lo que necesitaba fue el mejor padre y lo sigue siendo. Fui creciendo y no sabía nada de mi verdadero padre siempre tenía las esperanzas de que cambiará y me buscará, pero no, no sucedió así.

Cuando cumplí los 12 años de edad, a mi madre le dijeron para bautizar a una bebé de una amiga de ella, accedió y así fue, llegó el día y fuimos, un señor amigo de mi tío me llevó a la bodega a comprar y justamente la casa de al frente vivía la esposa de mi verdadero padre, él me vio yo lo reconocí, era muy notorio nuestro parecido, él me ignoró por completo, estaba chiquita y no entendía mucho, nunca le dije a mi madre. Pasaron los años y cumplí los 15 años de edad, yo seguía viviendo en Caracas (Distrito Capital), ya entendía un poco más las cosas ya tenía todo claro, decidimos venir a San Juan de los Morros ya que mi abuela y casi toda la familia por parte de mamá viven en dicho estado. Un día salgo al centro con una tía y justamente me lo consigo, el me volvió a reconocer y me ignoró de una forma que me partió mucho el corazón, me puse a pensar lo que había pasado hace 2 años atrás cuándo lo hizo también y yo no sentía dolor en ese entonces, pero desde ese momento entendí que mis esperanzas de que él cambiara o entendiera que realmente si era su hija, ya estaban un poco agotada.

One day I go out downtown with an aunt and I just get it, he recognized me again and ignored me in a way that broke my heart, I started to think what had happened 2 years ago when he did it too and I did not feel pain at that time, but from that moment I understood that my hopes that he would change or understand that I really was his daughter, were already a little exhausted.

Sé que las esperanzas nunca se pierden, y deseó que algún día piense bien las cosas y acepte sus errores. Mi infancia ha sido muy bonita a pesar de todo, he disfrutado mucho, jugué mucho, desde pequeña tenía una pasión con la medicina que hoy en día tengo la dicha de estudiar esa carrera y me siento muy orgullosa que a pesar de todo he sido muy fuerte.
