Si contamos los ciclos por 365/366 días, cada cumpleaños es en realidad el verdadero año nuevo para cada quién, ese día se cumple un ciclo 365/366 días. Incluso en la numerología y en la astrología es el cumpleaños lo que se toma para contemplar los nuevos ciclos. Estamos llenos de fechas que son pautas para unirnos en una misma intención y como tal con sus propios rituales: el día del amor y la amistad para recordarnos que es bueno tomarnos un día al año para dedicarle de lleno y con toda nuestra intención el compartir y reconocer a esas personas que nos son amadas (incluyéndonos a nosotros mismos) y que por la costumbre o la obviedad nos dejamos arrastrar por las rutinas, es ese día del año en el que paramos la marea y elegimos honrar nuestras relaciones. Lo mismo ocurre con Navidad o día de gracias con sus rituales tradicionales. El fin de año y la ropa íntima de tal color, las uvas o las maletas. Estamos llenos de rituales aunque no lo veamos como tal porque la palabra se haya usado para relacionarlo con brujas, calderos, pentagramas y muñecos voodoo. Un ritual es una acción que elegimos tomar con una intención, la intencionalidad aquí es la clave y lo que débilmente lo separa de una rutina. Un ritual es todo aquel hábito propio como la que tenemos a la hora de acostarnos o al llegar al trabajo que nos va poniendo poco a poco en situación, hacer la transición entre un estado a otro: el ajetreo del día al momento de descansar, los problemas de casa para concentrarnos en el trabajo, cómo no va a ser igual para nuestro verdadero año nuevo? El cumpleaños como un cambio de ciclo es un día con la oportunidad de reflexionar y tomar decisiones a mediano plazo, esos que tal vez puedan coincidir con esos "prometidos" a fin de año muchos inspirados por el fulgor de las fiestas y que pocos solemos sostener.

Nuestro cumpleaños puede ser esa estación de servicio en el que "paramos el carro". dejamos la inercia de una vida que no se frena y paramos nosotros a chequear el tanque, repostar y echar una miradita al GPS. Decidir cómo pasar el primer día del resto del año como quién elige el camino a seguir en una encrucijada. Aceptar gestionar los pasos andados que e trajeron al ahora y desde el aquí voltear la mirada al frente y tomar nuevas elecciones.

Algunos quizás tengan como ritual la preparación de la celebración en sí o como @justfavour que fue mi primera lectura aquí, cuya decisión fue el regalarse algo. Todos de forma consciente o inconsciente hacemos o elegimos no hacer un ritual en nuestro cumpleaños, porque hasta ese regalo o esa celebración tan planificada hay una intencionalidad muy íntima que nos invita a probar o probarnos algo. Incluso el pasar por debajo de la mesa nuestra llegada a este mundo guarda una un mensaje de nuestro ser. No es el seguir o no una fecha o festividad de las masas, es TU día y TU elección (hasta si es el elegir seguir las masas en cómo lo pases).

Es un buen momento para hacer el Mapa del Tesoro por ejemplo, definir cuál sería ese eje central por el que proyectarás tus futuras decisiones en los siguientes 365 días. a cómo yo lo veo, ese eje es LA INTENCIÓN. Bien hemos aprendido a estas alturas que los planes se tuercen en el camino, que no siempre las cosas salen como uno las planifica y que estamos en tiempos revueltos y sensibles en los que cualquier cosa puede cambiarnos la vida hacia lo inimaginable como nos lo hizo la pandemia. > 💡 > > Sin embargo la intencionalidad es inmune a ello, es una constante que nos puede servir de foco en la tormenta, si tenemos claro la intención las acciones se podrán ajustar más fácilmente a las circunstancias. Si tu intención es mejorar profesionalmente, cualquier oportunidad y camino que ayude será válido, más allá de que no puedas hacer aquel curso que no puedas pagar porque estarás sumando al objetivo con esos otros recursos que sí están a tu alcance y que incluye no sólo la capacitación sino los cambios que hagas en tus rutinas de trabajo, actitud o trabajo interior para atreverte por fin pedir esa mejora o renunciar para algo mejor. Ves? La intención es un eje por el que puede girar y moverse tantas opciones como para incluir a los imprevistos. Al ser yo el tipo de personas muy mentales y fiel creyente del poder de la intención, puede que cambie cada año mis rituales pero nunca han sido elecciones inconscientes ni vacías. Tal vez para pasado mañana les cuente de algunas celebraciones del pasado y veremos qué habrá pasado durante el día. Este año he elegido darle poder a lo que he estado trabajando recientemente mientras empezaba a salir de una devastadora crisis que me abatió profundamente, me disolvió en todo sentido y todo aspecto de mi vida, he elegido dejar de ser una LUCHADORA. Me criaron de esa manera y creía que era algo de qué sentirme orgullosa, el ser fuerte batallante ante las adversidades y soportar o enfrentarse a cuanto reto lance la vida en pos de un camino del Héroe lleno de sacrificios, renuncias, complacencia a los demás y el ya confesado "yo puedo sola"

Mirando esas huellas las gestiono de esta manera: muy útiles para reconocer una fortaleza titánica en mí, pero que sólo me ha llevado a un desgaste extremo al punto de que creo que mermó tal fortaleza que por tantos años usé de bastión. No hubo logros, ni prosperidad, sólo sueños rotos y proyectos inertes regados por doquier como los cadáveres en un campo de batalla. Las huellas de lucha me han traído a un ahora estéril, esto es lo que este año he decidido gestionar. En mi mente creía que no lograba tener control de mi vida, haciendo siempre sólo aquello que me era posible al menos intentar, creía que eso de ser controladora o tener el control de algo, era forzar y empecinarse en una de las opciones. Me decía "Ja! Controladora yo?! Qué carrizo controlo si nunca tengo opciones?!" Pero el control es mucho más que eso, ahora recién lo medio empiezo a deslumbrar. Ciertamente he tenido casi nulas oportunidades de elección pero el empeñarse en llevar a término algo en un constante esfuerzo sobrehumano dándose golpe tras golpe contra la pared, es una forma de pretender controlar/forzar las cosas. Por simple semántica, control es no saber soltar.

Es así que para este cumpleaños a duras penas he logrado levantar cabeza para sentarme y respirar entre el charco de sangre, trocitos de mí en el suelo y cuatro paredes selladas e irrompibles. Sólo sentarme y ver el cuadro, ese es el ahora aceptando mis huellas que me trajeron hasta el hoy.

Cita atribuida a Albert Eisntein según el libro "Sudden Death" de Rita Mae Brown. Esa cita ha sido una de mis premisas y pilares en mi forma de vida, de allí que cada año cambie mis rituales. He llevado varios años intentando aprender el "no hacer nada" precisamente por ser lo único que no he hecho en busca de esperar resultados diferentes. Este año será la guía para mi cumpleaños como primer día del resto de los 365 con la intención de integrar en mí y en el cómo tomo mis decisiones ese no-hacer como "soltar", ergo, dejar de controlar. En mis intentos previos con el "hacer nada" he cometido el error de usarlo como otra forma solapada de controlar ejerciendo mi fuerza en el no-hacer haciendo lo que yo quiera al negarme o rechazar. En esto me resultó útil la claridad de mi intención y me rescató de seguir cometiendo los mismos errores desde la inconsciencia ni dejarme arrastrar por los viejos hábitos. * Me inspiré en la energía y las enseñanzas del año de la Serpiente para fuir desde ese enfoque: La serpiente no se da de cabezazos contra enormes rocas porque sabe que no podrá moverlas, la rodea o le pasa por encima; su cuerpo es fuerte pero flexible al mismo tiempo, el adaptarse a la superficie en completo contacto con la superficie es lo que le permite avanzar; sus sentidos le advierten sobre el entorno y para que pueda hacer desvíos con tiempo (no es muy veloz) antes de que llegue la amenaza; acepta y reconoce los beneficios de sus ciclos, cada muda de piel no es la pérdida de una parte de sí misma sino un soltar de lo que ya está caduco para poder "rejuvenecer" y seguir. Tener a la serpiente como intención es un recordatorio constante del soltar, parar, pies en la tierra, otro tipo de fortaleza y eficacia ante los obstáculos. Me he propuesto no planificar, no esperar nada, no rechazar ni poner peros a lo que surja (más bien dejar de hacerlo porque ya caí en ello) y dejar que ocurra lo que fluya sin resistencia. Confieso que desde que tomé esta postura se me ha hecho evidente lo que me cuesta recibir.

Si no sé recibir ¿cómo carrizo voy a permitir que desde el exterior se rompan los muros que yo desde dentro no he podido atravesar? ¿Cómo se haría posible que el que sepa crear puertas o ventanas pueda hacer su trabajo? ¿Cómo puedo permitir que a esos seres de luz a los que le pido ayuda hagan lo que les pido? By simple semantics, control is not knowing how to let go. I should have learned that my head has a limit of resistance and that it is not irresponsibility to stop trying but to admit that the wall is harder than my own hard head. So for this birthday I have barely managed to lift my head to sit and breathe among the pool of blood, bits of me on the floor and four sealed and unbreakable walls. Just sitting and looking at the big picture, that's the now accepting my footprints that brought me to today.

I have spent several years trying to learn to “do nothing” precisely because it is the only thing I have not done in order to expect different results. In my previous attempts with “doing nothing” I have made the mistake of using it as another underhanded way of controlling by exerting my strength in not-doing by doing what I want by refusing or rejecting.
