Migrating is not easy, but in my case, inevitably necessary. I made the decision to leave last year (2016) when I saw that I had money and, even so, I could not get what I really wanted to eat, a simple bread. Years of "how come, let's see" of a dictatorship that has not tired of destroying the present and future of many at the cost of its accelerated personal growth, has pushed many to the unknown world of being a foreigner.

How did I do? I only had the desire, but not the resources. My family-that I miss so much, every day that goes by-helped me out and then emerge outside. "I have a few dollars, use them to go", was the phrase that hit me on the accelerator and put me to solve quickly, because some friends left soon and I had to take advantage of their knowledge in the journey we took for nine days.

We leave from Barcelona to Santo Domingo (Táchira) by plane. Upon arrival, we waited for a previously rented taxi that would take us to the border with Cúcuta (Colombia). Everyone with a suitcase and walking we venture to cross a bridge that is a coin. In my case a Venezuelan military asked me to stop to check the suitcase, which, could not open because I had it closed with a tire and he did not have scissors to split it. So his annoyance was more than his "rigorous" security check and he let me go.

Once in Cúcuta, we started looking for a place to change the USD to Colombian Pesos and to buy the bus ticket that would take us to Ipiales. 2 days of travel where we stopped 3 hours in the early morning while repairing some inconvenience and up to where we asked ourselves if we were with Fernando Alonso, pilot. Finally we reach our destination, where it is to get off and get ready to follow the project - obviously after the passport is sealed - to Tulcán. Only 15 minutes took us to arrive at the terminal of that town and we bought tickets to Guayaquil.

12 hours or maybe a little more on the road without Wifi in transport - deceptive offer - but without mishaps in it. We arrived at the very good terrestrial terminal that this city has and then to build the new route. Why new? Well, not everything is perfect, unfortunately Peru at that time was going through heavy rains, which caused the collapse of several roads that we had to travel to get to Lima and continue.

As I said at the beginning, with whom I left, they were better informed than I was on this issue of the terrestrial "escape" into exile, so "I'm going to calm down." The only possible way to get to Lima was by air (an unexpected expense). It was decided to buy tickets to Piura (Peru) and to entrust all the saints to get a ticket that would leave the same day of arrival or the next.

Yes, miracles exist. After so many KM tours and hours are forgotten, the important thing is that it was a very good trip -with wifi included- and when arriving ladies and gentlemen we got tickets to Lima, for the next day. 120 USD that changed the accounts a bit but that got us a little closer to the goal.

"A long time ago you could not see so much rain" said the taxi driver who took us to the airport. Imagine how lucky we felt (sarcasm detected). One hour and, ready, we were already in the Peruvian capital. Not without first having a delay of two hours for the exit. We arrived at night, so we had to sleep at the airport like many others as the corridors were full of people sleeping on the floor.

Already "rested" we just had to wait for the time for the departure of the bus to approach, which, luckily, we had already bought in Piura and thus approach their terminal to only confirm. All ready with our ticket to Tacna, we would have a few hours to know a bit of Lima.

As good football fans we could not pass up the opportunity to visit the National Stadium of Peru. The very kind security allowed us to enter the field, take pictures and others in exchange for "a collaboration that came out of our hearts". From there to a small clothing market where we got the best copies of the original, but with a small budget, next.

Much desire, but little time, so back to the terminal and in a close and open eyes were already dating. The best bus we took on the whole trip was that. Perfect wifi signal, comfortable seating and good food. The only negative is that I did not have to charge the cell phone, but we already had a phD to make it perform.

I do not remember how long the trip lasted, only that we arrived the next day. Getting down from one to ride another. Bus Tacna-Arica, to already step on Chilean soil and end with so many speculations of "ask this and that".

- "Argentina"

Ready. Sealed passport where they approve the stay for 90 days and guess what, we are in Chile, fuck!

Last bus with a day and a half to reach Santiago and, here we are. Progressing little by little, in a dignified way and with the certainty that the effort will pay off because here, who comes to work and forgets the "Creole liveliness" lives and does not survive. Health!
