El tratamiento sintomático centrado en el dolor, pasará tantos por analgésicos, como por opiáceos, antiespasmódicos, tratamientos para los vómitos, la fiebre y escalofríos. Así como una adecuación a la dieta, disminuyendo la ingesta de proteínas animales, sal y sucrosa en los casos de calcio elevado en orina, reducir ingesta de purinas en casos de ácido úrico elevado, aumentar la ingesta de frutas y vegetales para elecar niveles de citrato, y una adecuada ingesta de agua.
