Now, from my personal experience I must admit that I was a child with many toys, with a variety of characters, from dolls to cars, boats, and stuffed animals, in this way I was having some more favorites than others, I must say that my favorites were the characters of animated television series and also the animals. Of those animals a stuffed monkey stole my heart, I always kept it in good condition, and to this day it is on my desk. What I like most about this stuffed animal is its look because I find it very ironic, this little monkey makes me remember my childhood with much affection.

En nuestra infancia solemos emular estos artefactos a través de formas improvisadas como por ejemplo tomar una caja y hacer carritos, pero también nuestros anhelos se ven reflejados en estos, un ejemplo son los obsequios que pedimos para navidad, cumpleaños o alguna fecha especial. Los juguetes se presentan a través de personajes que bien podrían tener una apariencia humana, animal, de objeto o cosa, sin embargo la personalidad está basada en la de un ser humano cubierta de una skin que le hace ser más cercano con su publico.

Ahora bien, desde mi experiencia personal debo admitir que fui una niña con muchos juguetes, de variedad de personajes, desde muñecas a carros, botes, y animales de peluche, de esta manera fui teniendo algunos mas favoritos que otros, debo decir que mi preferidos fueron los personajes de series de televisión animada y también los animales. De esos animales un monito de peluche se robo mi corazón, siempre lo conserve en buen estado, que hasta el día de hoy está en mi escritorio. Lo que más me gusta de este peluche es su mirada ya que me parece muy irónica, este monito me hace recordar mi niñez con mucho cariño.

Desde esta óptica me he puesto a analizar como los juguetes se arraigan tanto a nosotros que el mercado nos hace desear los productos con esta temática. A principios de año escuche una entrevista que le hicieron a una especialista en marketing, ella dijo que un fenómeno sociológico en las personas de hoy, es la tendencia a la nostalgia, que nos lleva a anhelar lo que alguna vez vivimos con mucha felicidad o cariño, es decir que ¿tal vez la vida de hoy no es tan satisfactoria que nos terminamos sumergiendo en los recuerdos de un ayer donde no habían preocupaciones y donde genuinamente éramos felices?

Lo cierto es que las personas crecemos y por ende no somos los mismos de cuando éramos niños, ya que nuestra condición y aspecto físico cambia, así como también adquirimos roles y responsabilidades que nos ubican en una realidad personal y social, por tal motivo los personajes (juguetes) no deben ser comercializados en sus presentaciones tradicionales es por ello que deben reimaginarse para que no pierdan su esencia pero también reflejen la realidad de la vida adulta con todo lo que implica enfrentarse al mundo de hoy.

Para ir cerrando debo mencionar que , tal vez nuestro niño interior no se marche, pero también una parte de ese niño crece con los juguetes que alguna vez formaron capítulos hermosos de la vida y que de alguna manera nos representan en el ahora. Está en nosotros vivir un bello y genuino presente, pero también debemos ser responsables con los retos a los cuales nos enfrentamos, no debemos perder el sentido de la realidad ya que debemos cumplir nuestro papel protagónico en la sociedad y seguir avanzando en el mantenimiento y conquista de nuestros derechos.
