Amigos de #Hive, cuando tenia solo seis años, siendo estudiante de primaria en el “grupo escolar Francisco Pimentel” en caracas, Venezuela, fui designado, como representante del cuarto grado, para interpretar como solista, un aguinaldo (Canción navideña que se oye en época decembrina en Venezuela) en el teatro de dicha escuela, acompañado del maestro de música de la misma de quien no recuerdo el nombre, el aguinaldo se llama “yo soy un niño cantor” de compositor desconocido. Sentía una emoción muy grande al presentarme ante un publico compuesto en su mayoría por padres y representantes de esa casa de estudios. Todo iba bien hasta que llego el momento de aparecerme en escena… sentí un miedo terrible pues jamás antes me había tenido que presentar ante tanta gente, pero al ver a mi madre sentada muy cerca de mi, el miedo se disipo de una manera tal que me imagine que no había nadie.

I was only six years old when, as an elementary school student in the "Francisco Pimentel school group" in Caracas, Venezuela, I was appointed, as a representative of the fourth grade, to interpret as a soloist, an aguinaldo (Christmas song that is heard at Christmas time in Venezuela) in the theater of that school, accompanied by the music teacher of the same who I do not remember the name, the aguinaldo is called "I am a singing child" of unknown composer. I was very excited to perform in front of an audience composed mostly of parents and representatives of that school. Everything was going well until it was time for me to appear on stage... I felt a terrible fear because I had never before had to perform in front of so many people, but when I saw my mother sitting very close to me, the fear dissipated in such a way that I imagined that there was no one there.

Fue esta mi primera incursión en el mundo del canto, de la cual salió muy bien lo cual deduje del fuerte aplauso que se dejo sentir al final de la interpretación.

This was my first incursion into the world of singing, and it went very well, as I could tell from the loud applause at the end of the performance.

Posteriormente, hice otras presentaciones relacionadas con las distintas fechas que habían de cumplirse a lo largo del año, siempre con el mismo éxito.

Subsequently, I made other presentations related to the different dates to be met throughout the year, always with the same success.

Luego de mis primeras incursiones en el mundo de la música, específicamente en el canto, he tenido diversas participaciones con distintas agrupaciones corales, como lo son el orfeón de la universidad central de Venezuela de la mano del profesor Raúl Delgado Marín, el orfeón de la universidad de oriente, núcleo de cumana, estado sucre de la mano de los profesores Gilberto Vargas y Luis Eduardo Jiménez, la Scholla Cantorum de caracas de la mano de los profesores Alberto Grau y maría Guinand, el coro del extinto consejo de la judicatura también en caracas, el coro del banco consolidado y del banco central de Venezuela, de la mano del maestro Gonzalo Peña, de la coral cromática de cumaná de la mano del profesor Napoleón Balbás y en la actualidad de la coral “maría Ruiz Blohm” perteneciente a la catedra de canto de la Fundación Arte y Ópera, igual de cumana, de la mano del maestro Daniel Centeno, con quien compartí labores musicales con el extinto trio “trilogía del bolero”, con el maestro Jorge Guerra en la percusión.

After my first incursions into the world of music, specifically in singing, I have had several participations with different choral groups, such as the choral society of the Central University of Venezuela under the guidance of Professor Raúl Delgado Marín, the choral society of the University of the East, Cumana, Sucre State under the guidance of Professors Gilberto Vargas and Luis Eduardo Jiménez, the Scholla Cantorum of Caracas under the guidance of Professors Alberto Grau and María Guinand, the choir of the extinct council of the judiciary also in caracas, the choir of the consolidated bank and the central bank of Venezuela, under the guidance of maestro Gonzalo Peña, the chromatic choir of cumaná under the guidance of professor Napoleón Balbás and currently the "maría Ruiz Blohm" choir belonging to the singing department of the Art and Opera Foundation, Also from Cumana, under the guidance of maestro Daniel Centeno, with whom I shared musical work with the extinct trio "Trilogía del Bolero", with maestro Jorge Guerra on percussion.

He tenido también participación como solista en grupos de música navideña como "Fredy Gaitas", "Son Marabina" y "Bochinche Gaitero" Grupos gaiteros que animan fiestas y celebraciones navideñas.

I have also participated as a soloist in Christmas music groups such as "Fredy Gaitas", "Son Marabina" and "Bochinche Gaitero" Pipe groups that animate parties and Christmas celebrations.

Y asi, 65 años después de haber nacido en la población de “Villa Frontedo” o “Muelle de Cariaco” como mejor se conoce, en el estado sucre, un 26 de abril de 1957; de haber emigrado junto a mis padres de mi lar nativo a la gran Metropolis, la caracas capital venezolana y haber vivido en ella por mas de cuarenta años; de haber dado mis primeros pasos como cantante en mi remota infancia colegial, y habiendo pertenecido a tantas agrupaciones que conforman mi experiencia cultural que me llena de tanto orgullo, finalizo mi autobiografía con un pensamiento propio…”si te gusta lo que haces en beneficio de la cultura, sigue adelante que nunca se termina de aprender…”.

And so, 65 years after being born in the town of "Villa Frontedo" or "Muelle de Cariaco" as it is better known, in the state of Sucre, on April 26, 1957; having emigrated with my parents from my native lar to the great Metropolis, the Venezuelan capital Caracas and having lived there for more than forty years; having taken my first steps as a singer in my remote school childhood, and having belonged to so many groups that make up my cultural experience that fills me with so much pride, I end my autobiography with a thought of my own... "if you like what you do for the benefit of culture, keep going, you never stop learning...".
