Hello friends of the seventh art; Yesterday I saw the movie "When Heaven is Wrong" or "Good Fortune", this is a very real fantasy comedy and social satire, because many things they propose are happening to many people and in many countries, it was released this year, this film is written and directed by Aziz Ansari who acts and directs the film.

Hola amigos del séptimo arte; Ayer me vi la película "Cuando el cielo se equivoca" o “Buena fortuna”, esta es una comedia de fantasía y sátira social muy real, porque muchas cosas que plantean están pasándoles a muchas personas y en muchos países, fue estrenada en este año, esta película está escrita y dirigida por Aziz Ansari que actúa y dirige la película.

The plot focuses on modern themes such as the dissatisfaction of life where it reflects the conditions of many people, the wealth that some have and the poverty of others and the purpose of life and using a celestial twist represented with the character of Keanu Reeves as a starting point for a series of entanglements and reflections.

The story shows Gabriel, a low-level guardian angel with very small and dysfunctional wings played by an unusual, calm and thoughtful Keanu Reeves; and I confess that I miss seeing Keanu Reeves playing this character since we are used to seeing him with determined characters and with much more action.

Unlike traditional representations of omniscient and perfect celestial beings, this Gabriel is bored with what he does, he wants to do something more transcendental, but everything he wants to do he does wrong and he does not evaluate the complexities of the human mind, his divided intervention is influencing people's thinking, I have seen that in other films.

Despite the boring nature of his job, Gabriel observes human life with a mixture of curiosity, confusion, and wants to intervene in it, until he does so with two individuals.

La trama se centra en temas modernos como la insatisfacción de la vida donde refleja las condiciones de muchas personas, la riqueza que tiene unos y la pobreza de otros y el propósito de la vida y utilizando un giro celestial representado con el personaje de Keanu Reeves como punto de partida para una serie de enredos y reflexiones.

La historia muestra a Gabriel, un ángel guardián de bajo nivel, con alitas muy pequeñas y disfuncionales interpretado por un inusual, tranquilo y reflexivo Keanu Reeves; y confieso, que me extraño ver a Keanu Reeves interpretando a este personaje ya que estamos acostumbrado a verlo con personaje decididos y con mucha más acción.

A diferencia de las representaciones tradicionales de seres celestiales omniscientes y perfectos, este Gabriel esta aburrido de lo que hace, quiere hacer algo más trascendental, pero todo lo que quiere hace lo hace mal y es que no evalúa las complejidades de la mente humana, su intervención divida es influyendo en el pensamiento de las personas, he visto eso en otras películas.

A pesar de la naturaleza aburrida de su trabajo, Gabriel observa la vida humana con una mezcla de curiosidad, confusión y quiere intervenir en ellas, hasta que lo hace sobre dos individuos.

Gabriel's attention falls on two individuals whose lives are at opposite poles of the socioeconomic scale, one is Arj (played by Aziz Ansari), an unemployed film editor with financial difficulties, who lives in his car, he represents the average individual who struggles to make ends meet, facing the frustration and hopelessness of poverty and lack of opportunities, he shows the jobs that many people have in order to survive, in short his life is a chain of bad luck and temporary jobs that barely They allow him to survive.

The other character is Jeff (played by Seth Rogen), a wealthy shareholder in technology companies who lives a life of opulence in the Hollywood hills, Jeff embodies opulent wealth and, despite having everything material one could want, appears to lack a true purpose in life, although this is more of an initial inference by Gabriel than an established fact.

Gabriel, the angel, convinced that wealth does not solve all problems and that happiness lies elsewhere, decides to intervene in a drastic way and not authorized by his boss, believing that he can teach Arj a life lesson. Gabriel makes an exchange of lives between Arj, the poor man, and Jeff, the rich man without the latter's consent.

The angel is sure that by experiencing each other's lives, Arj will appreciate what really matters, but nothing turns out like his well-intentioned plan, but he executes it clumsily and triggers a series of chaotic and unexpected events.

The film delves into the complications that arise from this exchange, as Arj suddenly finds himself living Jeff's life of luxury, dealing with mansions, staff, and the eccentricities of the ultra-rich world, while Jeff is thrown into Arj's world, facing the realities of poverty and the day-to-day struggle to get by.

La atención de Gabriel recae en dos individuos cuyas vidas están en polos opuestos de la escala socioeconómica, uno es Arj (interpretado por Aziz Ansari), un editor de cine desempleado y con dificultades económicas, que vive en su coche, él representa al individuo promedio que lucha por llegar a fin de mes, enfrentando la frustración y la desesperanza de la pobreza y la falta de oportunidades, muestra los trabajos que tiene muchas personas para poder sobrevivir, en resumen su vida es una cadena de mala suerte y trabajos temporales que apenas le permiten subsistir.

Beyond the comic situations you show, which are several, the film raises deeper questions about money, current social problems in developed countries, and how technology pressures people to continually change jobs.

Gabriel, seeing the consequences of his interference, is punished and begins to realize that his way of doing things was not the wisest, and that human life is much more complex than a low-ranking celestial being could initially understand.

In summary, "When Heaven Makes a Wrong" or "Good Fortune" is an entertaining and different comedy that, without revealing the outcome, promises an entertaining and reflective journey through various circumstances through the lives of two men whose realities collide thanks to the intervention of a clumsy but humble angel.

The film invites you to consider your life, and be grateful for what you have and shows you that unattainable search for happiness that all of us should not give up.

Más allá de las situaciones cómicas que muestras, que son varias, la película plantear preguntas más profundas sobre el dinero, los problemas sociales actuales de países desarrollados y como la tecnología va presionando a las personas a cambiar continuamente de trabajos.

Gabriel, al observar las consecuencias de su interferencia, es castigado y comienza a darse cuenta de que su manera de hacer las cosas no fue la más sabia, y que la vida humana es mucho más compleja de lo que un ser celestial de bajo rango podría comprender inicialmente.

La narrativa explora cómo reacciona cada hombre a su nueva situación y si el cambio de circunstancias materiales altera fundamentalmente su carácter o sus perspectivas de vida. La película juega con la idea de si el dinero puede comprar la felicidad, o si simplemente cambia la naturaleza de los problemas que uno enfrenta.

La actuación de Keanu Reeves como el ángel queriendo ayudar, es uno de los puntos destacados que no veras en otras películas, mostrando otra faceta que contrasta con sus personajes de acción más conocidos como John Wick o Neo en The Matrix.

En resumen, "Cuando el cielo se equivoca" o “Buena fortuna”, es una comedia amena y diferente que, sin revelar el desenlace, promete un viaje entretenido por diversas circunstancias y reflexivo a través de la vida de dos hombres cuyas realidades chocan gracias a la intervención de un ángel torpe pero humilde.
