When we left the store, my husband suggested we go to lunch at the Cumana Plaza shopping center. There is a food court there with a wide variety of dishes. However, when we arrived, we were surprised to see that many of the stalls had closed. I was very sad, as that food court represents many shared family memories for me, including the stall where I buy my favorite soups. As we were leaving, I told my husband that they didn't even sell Broaster chicken or roast chicken in the area anymore, and he replied, "Honey, they had Broaster chicken." I told him I hadn't noticed, so we immediately turned back. I sat down at the table while he ordered the food, which consisted of a half fried roast chicken combo with shredded cabbage and carrot salad, fried arepas, and a liter of soda. The owner of the restaurant kindly served us and brought our order with care. Ten minutes later, he brought us the potatoes. I was eager to devour that dish, as it had been a long time since I had eaten fried food, but as you can understand, I had to take photos first to share my experience. The chicken was delicious, cooked to perfection: not too salty and not lacking in salt. The salad was juicy, with just the right amount of salt and sugar. The fried arepas weren't salty, which I thought was ideal. The place is very busy and the service deserves a 10 out of 10, while I give the seasoning a 100%. "Conociendo el Sazón del Chuleton". Hace muchos meses que no sabía lo que era disfrutar de una comida en especial. Entre viajes y problemas personales, encontrar un momento de relax para mi esposo y para mí se volvió imposible. El viernes por la mañana, le dije que debíamos buscar un espacio solo para nosotros, y él me respondió que en cualquier momento lo haríamos. Así quedamos. Esa noche, como era de costumbre, se fue la luz y pasaron dos horas. Cuando volvió, estábamos esperando que se encendiera nuestro aire acondicionado, y en la dulce espera nos dimos cuenta de que el corte de luz nos quemó nuestro protector de corriente.

El dueño del local, amablemente, nos atendió y sirvió nuestro pedido con cariño. A los diez minutos, nos trajo las papas. Tenía ganas de devorar ese platillo, ya que hacía mucho tiempo que no comía frituras, pero como entenderán, primero debía tomar las fotos para compartir mi experiencia. El pollo estaba delicioso, en su punto justo: ni muy salado ni falta de sal. La ensalada era jugosa, con la cantidad perfecta de sal y azúcar. Las arepas fritas no se le sentía la sal, lo que me pareció ideal.
