It’s truly a pleasure for us to be here and share a little bit about our music and our story with you. **We are Meganova, a band that blends various currents of rock and pop rock**, made up entirely of women musicians from different states of Venezuela. #### How did Meganova come together? The story of **Meganova** began with Michelle, our singer, who had a musical project in mind but didn’t know many female musicians to bring it to life. Determined to make her vision a reality, she started asking her friends if they knew any talented women in music. Thanks to their recommendations, Michelle was able to contact each of the members of the band, and that’s how we came together. #### Why “Meganova”? The name **“Meganova”** is a play on words that fuses the concept of a *“supernova”* — a stellar explosion that marks the end of a star and the beginning of something new — with the prefix *“Mega”*, emphasizing the magnitude of our message. It also highlights the feminine energy that defines our band. #### Our Team Thanks to the opportunities we’ve had along the way, we’ve built a strong team that supports our music. For big and important events, we work with a **full team**: our manager, front of house engineer and their assistant, monitor engineer, three roadies, photographer, videographer, producer, makeup artist, designer, and stylist. For smaller shows, the team is reduced to the essentials: manager, front of house engineer, and one roadie. Each of them is essential in helping us give our best at every show. #### Venues We’d love to share some of what we’ve achieved so far and the emotions that have fueled us along the way. We’ve made a name for ourselves by performing at various venues in the *Caracas* music scene, and we had the honor of opening for **Jesse & Joy** in Caracas. #### Hola Hivers, Cómo va todo? Para nosotras es un verdadero placer estar aquí y poder compartir un poco de nuestra música y de nuestra historia con ustedes. Nosotras somos **Meganova** , una banda que fusiona diversas corrientes del rock y pop rock, conformada completamente por mujeres músicos de diferentes estados de Venezuela. Nuestra propuesta nace de la necesidad de darle visibilidad y representación femenina en el mundo del rock y la música en general. #### ¿Cómo se conformó Meganova? La historia de **Meganova** comenzó con Michelle, nuestra cantante, quien tenía en mente un proyecto musical pero no conocía muchas mujeres músicos para llevarlo a cabo. Decidida a hacer realidad su visión, preguntó entre sus amigos si conocían a otras chicas talentosas en la música. Gracias a esas recomendaciones, Michelle pudo contactar con cada una de las integrantes del grupo, y así fue como nos encontramos. Con el tiempo, nos unimos para dar forma a este proyecto lleno de energía y pasión. #### ¿Por qué “Meganova”? El nombre **“Meganova”** es un juego de palabras que fusiona el concepto de “supernova”, una explosión estelar que representa el final de una estrella y el inicio de algo nuevo. Además, el prefijo **“Mega”** resalta la magnitud de nuestro mensaje, sin dejar de lado el toque femenino que caracteriza a la banda. De esta forma, **“Meganova”** simboliza nuestra energía y el poder transformador que, como mujeres en la música, buscamos llevar a nuestro público. Es nuestra manera de decir que somos una fuerza imparable que brilla con luz propia, como una estrella en el universo de la música. #### Nuestro Equipo Gracias a las oportunidades en el camino, hemos consolidado un gran equipo que sostiene nuestra música. Para eventos grandes e importantes, contamos con un equipo completo: nuestra mánager, ingeniero de audio y su asistente, ingeniero de monitores, tres roadies, fotógrafo, videógrafo, productor, maquilladora, diseñadora y estilista. En eventos más pequeños, el equipo se reduce a lo esencial: mánager, ingeniero de audio y un roadie. Cada uno de ellos es clave para que podamos dar lo mejor de nosotras en cada show. Más allá de su profesionalismo, son grandes amigos de la banda que siempre nos han apoyado y acompañado con cariño en este camino. Les estamos profundamente agradecidas por su apoyo constante. #### Venues Queremos contarles un poco sobre lo que hemos logrado hasta ahora y las emociones que nos han acompañado en este camino. Nos destacamos por nuestra presencia en diversos espacios de la escena musical caraqueña y tuvimos el honor de abrir el concierto de **Jesse & Joy** en Caracas. Actualmente, nos encontramos trabajando en la grabación de nuestra música original, pero también tenemos un show que fusiona temas propios con algunos covers.
