🧶 **Materials:** 1 ball of chunky yarn. Size 00 crochet hook. Scissors. Measuring tape. 🧶 **Stitches used:** Half-double crochets. Single crochets. >🧶 **Materiales:** >1 rollo de lana gruesa. Aguja de crochet numero 00. Tijeras. Cinta metrica. >🧶 **Puntos utilizados:** >Puntos medio altos. Puntos bajos.

🧶 **Instructions:** To make this hat, we need the head circumference measurement and the height from the crown of the head to the desired length. The primary stitch used is the half-double crochet, while single crochets are used at the top section to finish the hat. I start by making a chain of the necessary length and working half-double crochet stitches onto it. To keep the fabric stretchy, I work the subsequent rows by picking up only one of the two visible loops—either the front or the back one; I used the back loop, meaning I didn't work through the entire stitch as one normally would. Example: I worked 40 half-double crochet stitches and 7 single crochet stitches; I repeated this pattern for every row until I reached the required circumference. Then, I seamed it shut using either a crochet hook or a yarn needle. If you want a folded brim, simply add extra height stitches. The single crochets at the top help reduce bulk when closing the hat. You can decorate the top with any detail you like—such as a pom-pom, a button, or an appliqué. >Dear friends, as you can see, this is a very simple project because the rows are repetitive. I made this hat for the younger sister of my daughter @dojeda; she traveled to Curitiba, Brazil, for brain tumor surgery. She is also a member of our Hive community—@daniery. Coincidentally, she underwent her first procedure today and will soon have another operation to remove the tumor completely. Thank you so much, friends, for your support in sharing my posts. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🫂🫂 >🧶 **Elaboracion:** >Para elaborar este gorro necesitamos las medidas de circunferencia de cabeza y la altura desde el centro de la cabeza hasta el largo deseado, el punto mas usado es el punto medio alto y en la parte alta al final del gorro los puntos bajos. >Comenzare haciendo una cadena de puntos con el largo necesario y sobre esta cadena montamos los puntos medio altos, para que este punto quede elastico, hacemos las siguientes filas tomando solo un hilo de los dos que aparecen, puedes tomar el de adelante o el de atras, yo use el que se ve por detras osea no tomamos el punto completo como el tejido normal. >Ejemplo: Hice 40 puntos medio altos y 7 puntos bajos y así serían todas las filas, hasta obtener la medida de circunferencia necesaria, cerramos con la aguja de crochet o con la aguja lanera, si quieres doblarlo en los bordes aumentas los puntos necesarios de altura, los puntos bajos son para que al cerrar el gorro el volumen de tejido en la parte alta no sea tan voluminoso, puedes decorarlo en la parte alta con cualquier detalle a tu gusto, bien sea un pompon, un boton o aplique. >Apreciados amigos como pueden apreciar es un trabajo muy sencillo por que todas las filas son repetitivas, este gorro lo hice para la hermana menor de mi hija @dojeda , la cual viajo a Brasil, Ciudad de Curitiba, para que le realicen una operacion de un tumor cerebral, esta chica tambien es miembro de nuestra comunidad Hive @daniery , hoy casualmente fue sometida a su primera intervencion y pronto sera sometida a otra operacion con el fin de poder retirar el tumor en su totalidad. >Muchas gracias amigos por el apoyo brindado al compartir mis publicaciones. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🫂🫂
