Hello Everyone! We're Kara and Nate

We are full-time travel YouTubers on a mission to visit 100 countries by 2019 (currently at 66). For the past two years, we’ve been sharing our adventures through daily videos on our [YouTube channel](https://youtube.com/karaandnate/) (84k+ subscribers). Let's Start From The Beginning

Originally from Nashville Tennessee, on January 10th 2016, we boarded a one-way flight to Tokyo, Japan. We had spent all of 2015 saving up and getting things in order to travel the world for one year. **50+ countries** and two years later, we’re still on the road. Below is a video that quickly sums up the highlights from our first year of travel!

Our journey over the last two years has been an epic adventure that we wouldn't trade for the world, but it hasn’t always been easy. Before we left to travel we didn’t know anything about YouTube except that we enjoyed watching other people’s videos, and we thought it would be fun to share our journey on the platform. So long story short, we bought a camera, committed to filming and uploading a video (almost) every day, and we learned as we went. About 6 months into our first year of travel, our YouTube channel started to grow, and we realized that there was NO WAY we were going to be ready to quit traveling at the end of the year. So, we made it our goal to figure out how to turn our YouTube channel into a business that would financially sustain our travels. Since then we’ve been sharing our financial journey publicly through a monthly/quarterly [**income and expense report**](https://karaandnate.com/income-reports/) on our blog.

If you just want the cliff notes, this year (our second year of full-time travel) we’ve made over $30,000, and we should end the year in the black after visiting an additional 24 countries. Getting More People On The Steemit Platform

In addition to sharing our adventures on YouTube, we also want to contribute to this growing platform. We plan to start by introducing the Steemit Platform to our email list of over 10,000 subscribers. Once we get it figured out, we plan to promote Steemit to our YouTube channel and other social media platforms.
