All About Me
----- Hello Everyone my name's James, you can call me Jem— I just turned 20 years old, I'm from *Cebu, Philippines*. I am practicing my English so far, and this blogging would help me. I have an *ENTJ personality* and I am a Water Type Zodiac— *Aries*. I am a very forgetful person so I don't really recall so much about my past experiences, I have a great father and mother— they support me about my dreams and they taught me a lot about life and so far I love them. I used to be a careless person with believing the world revolves around me and I'm so used to say " It is what it is" but growing up, I realized there's so much to life— I revolve around the world, caring less won't do much, and it's not it is what it is for I will strive to reach for my dreams and what I desire— *You attract what you think*. ![editPicTemp.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/jemsss.art/AK7wMMjNgzkCdEpdkNm488U1kQXcHysPNZbN8aSf3UGDXE8Q5j5cFQqcmWwkPLP.jpg) I *fell* in love with Arts at a very young age, It's like I feel it like there's this color in me that says this is what I love and doing it makes me happy and complete, Then I met music, notes that I once was used to hear that I didn't know could change my whole perspective of view on my whole entire life. What Inspires me to do more art will be my *emotions*— my daily routine on making art would be that you need to do warm up sketches, then do a focus work for hours. Somehow I struggle finding the perfect time to sketch for there's school and I have duties which will somehow drain most of my energy. But experiencing a roller coaster of emotions helps me a lot to become a greater person myself. I learned to be patient, loving and caring. I could say that about myself not just because I am self-proclaiming but because I know I am, there are things in life where you hit the ground from flying high in the 20th floor— but that fall makes you a better person. I can't promise there's no more falls after, but i can promise you that you'll become a greater, better version of yourself and to look back, you'll be proud for not giving up mid way— There are choices, but giving up isn't one of them. Do not keep a person who affects your life negatively, they won't do you any good— keep those who makes you grow, who wanted the best for you, those who believe you can do it, and those people who cherish your value as a person and accepted you being the way you are. Remember it's better to have a small genuine people around than to have a massive numbers of people who are fake, Learn how to respect and love yourself so that you know the difference of how you are treated well and not. As I said above " You Attract What You Think " that thinking negatively means it will also attract your brain to see the negative side of everything that is currently happening which means just like in a court room, the brain will most likely try to find evidence about what's negative about your day, so instead of thinking such thoughts try to attract what you desire, wants and needs. I also do boxing, I love keeping my body in shape it makes me feel motivated and healthy, I am a very body conscious person. Being with my small group of friends make me feel alive, like laughing with them, eating out and do vlogging together. I am here to express my artwork and to reach out to many people about my arts, and to practice my english vocabulary also, not to forget to be friended with other cultures. I am a very socializing person— I love meeting new people across the world! Sometimes i still wonder if im doing good in life. Im 20 yet i still do question myself if im doing good enough at my duty as an adulthood. Theres is still so much to learn and experience, and i truly want to live life with passion, creativity and with purpose. Life isnt about always bright and colorful but also dim and dark, blurry and cloudy. But ive learned to blend well with these colors and turn them into something beautiful and i know theres something good behind every shades, where it can capture a beautiful painting called life. Inspiring people to start creating art since its a whole game changer. I also do want to collaborate with other artists, creating meaningful projects and maybe create a community for everyone to try art. I'd really love to inspire young artists who feel like theyre not good enough to remind them that growth can be messy sometimes and its okay. Right now i am also trying to explore and learning new things. Doing creative stuffs and taking actions on ideas that comes out of mind while balancing school, personal growth, art and social life. Its such a challenge to me but i love it, i love what im doing because it makes me feel more human. I even sleep late to finish my art work and do all personal growth stuffs and had to wake up early to do journal and for school. But most of all i am also learning to be kinder to myself, practicing gratitude, being patient, staying calm most and being a critical thinker on choosing wise decisions. Forgiving myself is and not giving up is the most. Progress doesnt need to be fast, as long as youre moving forward, youre winning every step you take. So if youre reading this feeling stuck and in despair, know that your future is waiting for you to take a move to be the person you wanted to be.
