BravoCoin is a fresh-new decentralized app, which gives you the opportunity to earn cryptocurrency for reviewing your favorite hotels, restaurants, services, attractions, and events.

Your profits go directly into your built-in wallet, where you can also receive BRAVO from other people, and send BRAVO to other people. You can track the entire history of your rewards and all the transactions that got in, or out of your wallet.

Your account is protected by several security keys, which you can use for different purposes. Of course, you have a seed phrase, and one main key, so you can recover your wallet if you need to.

How does BravoCoin work…

The BravoCoin dApp is using its own blockchain, which is built upon graphene technology.

Graphene contains all the necessities for operating a network in today’s modern web environment. It’s secure and fast, and is capable of handling up to 100,000 transactions per second.

This provides an immutable, trustless, decentralized and transparent way for people to leave their reviews for a large variety of products and services. Also, the largest social network based on blockchain (Steemit) has been running on it for over 3 years now.

And just like that, BravoCoin eliminates centralization, censorship, and manipulation, which are all happening on all the other known review platforms.

You may ask, how are they able to do that. And that’s a fair question… Well, the app is using an improved “Proof-of-Brain” algorithm, which takes care that only real and unique reviews are written. Therefore, everybody can be sure that there are no fake reviews on there.

Also, the blockchain allows BravoCoin to be used as a reliable payment solution too. So, merchants who decide to accept BRAVO will be able to receive their money securely, and in a matter of seconds.

BravoCoin’s mainnet was launched on 30 October 2018 at World Crypto Conference in Vegas. Later, in the beginning of 2019, the first builds for iOS and Android were released.

The code is open source. Client wallet, blockchain, and backend are released under the MIT license. This allows anyone to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the software.

The app utilizes a delegated proof of stake consensus model — “DPoS”.DPoS is the most scalable solution we have at this point. It’s what allows for network transactions to be confirmed in seconds, and to be proceeded securely.

Because of this technology, anybody can become a witness, and start validating what is happening on the blockchain. Basically, witnesses are the block producers of the network. They act as delegates and they are responsible for securing the chain.And, of course, they are compensated with BRAVO for their work.

The team is aiming to disrupt the existing centralized review platforms sphere by trying to persuade people to transition to new networks that are blockchain-enabled. Handing out the control to them, and seamlessly foster mass adoption.

Improvements…

One of their latest updates is the “Proof-of-Location” algorithm. They’ve created a hardware device — a “beacon”, which communicates with both the BravoCoin app and the blockchain.

These devices are given to businesses, which sign up for their premium profile packages. Then, these businesses will have the advantage of receiving verified reviews and verified check-ins on the Bravo dApp.

All of it is possible because the app is able to detect the presence of the beacon. So, if your phone is within the proximity of the beacon, it will mark you as a verified customer.

This service will bring the mission for killing fake reviews, destroying manipulation, and preventing censorship even further.

On top of all that, businesses could load coins into their Bravo beacons, and allow verified people to pick up some of these coins, as a reward for their contributions.

However, the team is working on the legal side of their whitepaper, so in the very near future, we will see BRAVO listed on more exchanges.
