¡Hola amigos de Hive!. Hoy vengo a contarles la historia de cómo me dio Covid 19 estando de viaje en otro pais junto a mi familia y y cómo gracias a Dios logramos superarlo.

### *Hello Hive friends! Today I come to tell you the story of how i got Covid 19 while traveling in another country with my family and how thank God we managed to overcome it.*

En diciembre mi familia planeo un viaje a Los Estados Unidos para pasar las fiestas allá y también para visitar a nuestra familia y amigos cercanos. planeábamos quedarnos un mes.

### *In December my family planned a trip to the United States to spend the holidays there and also to visit our family and close friends. We planned to stay a month.*

Todo comenzó cuando mi hermano y su novia regresaron luego de pasar unos días en Atlanta con la familia de ella. Después de un largo viaje, llegaron al resort casi a media noche.

### *It all started when my brother and his girlfriend returned after spending a few days in Atlanta with her family. After a long journey, they arrived at the resort almost at midnight.*

A la mañana siguiente, todo empezó a ponerse mal. Mi hermano había amanecido con un poco de fiebre, y su novia se sentía un poco mal, por lo que yo inmediatamente decidí tomar distancia y protegerme lo mas que podía. Ellos no creían que era nada grave sino un resfriado por el clima (hacia bastante frio). Pero había algo en mi que me decía que debían ir a hacerse la prueba, por lo cual les dije que hasta que no se la hicieran no se me acercaran jajaja.

### *The next morning, everything started to go wrong. My brother had woken up with a little fever, and his girlfriend was feeling a little bad, so I immediately decided to distance myself and protect myself as much as I could. They didn't think it was anything serious but a cold from the weather (it was quite cold). But there was something in me that told me that they should go get the test, so I told them that until they did it, they would not approach me hahaha.*

Finalmente fueron a hacerse la prueba y.. ¿ADIVINEN QUE? yo tenia razón. En ese momento me comencé a asustar y a pensar en muchas cosas, mi cabeza daba muchas vueltas. Esa noche no pude dormir de la ansiedad. Ahora nos tocaba hacernos la prueba al resto de la familia ( mi mama, mi papa y yo).

### *They finally went to get tested and ... Guess what? I was right. At that moment I started to get scared and to think about many things, my head was spinning a lot. That night I couldn't sleep from anxiety. Now we had to do the test to the rest of the family (my mom my dad and me).*

Al día siguiente fuimos. Yo estaba muy nerviosa y a la vez asustada por lo que podría pasar. Luego de una larga espera, nos llegaron los resultados... TODOS SALIMOS POSITIVOS. básicamente nos contagiamos en un día. Ese momento para mi fue muy duro y difícil; comencé a llorar y pensaba en que íbamos a hacer ahora, en como íbamos a volver a casa, y me preocupaba aun mas que estuviésemos en otro pais y nos pasara algo malo.

### *The next day we went. I was very nervous and at the same time scared about what might happen. After a long wait, the results came back ... WE ALL WERE POSITIVE. we basically catch it in one day. That moment for me was very hard and difficult; I started crying and I thought about what we were going to do now, how we were going to go home, and I was even more worried that we were in another country and something bad would happen to us.*

Afortunadamente a todos nos dio leve(aunque todos perdimos gusto y olfato por varios días) , excepto por alguno que otro día en el cual si nos sentíamos mal o nos daba dolor muscular. Luego de mucho esfuerzo, miedo e incertidumbre llego el día de regresar a casa. Gracias a Dios logramos volver y terminar de recuperarnos. Para mi si fue un poco mas duro y triste ya que tuve que pasar mi cumpleaños sola, aunque al final si lo pude celebrar después.

### *Fortunately, it was mild to all of us (although we all lost taste and smell for several days), except for the occasional day in which if we felt bad or gave us muscle pain. After much effort, fear and uncertainty, the day came to return home. Thank God we managed to return and finish recovering. For me it was a bit harder and sadder since I had to spend my birthday alone, although in the end I could celebrate it later.*
