Asian weddings can be an extensive process due to their vast societies and civilizations. I have been to over five marriages this Season to detect what they closely occasion and why. It’s interesting that the public of Pakistanis stays to follow this cultural trend of the wedding. In this post, I’ll define the Pakistani Muslim marriage from start to end.

Initial Phase

Penetrating for a future wife is the first stage of traditional Pakistani weddings. Elsewhere age 20, both boy and girl are considered likely mentors and wives. Most weddings in Pakistan are traditional arranged marriages, semi-arranged marriages or love marriages. * Arranged marriage happens when a supporter of the family, a dear friend help carry two supposedly well-matched people together in marriage. The bride and groom are not allowed to see each other. This system of the wedding is measured traditional but is down popularity between the fresher generations. * Love weddings (also known as court wedding ceremony) are unique since the idea of "family agreement" has been removed. Such “free-will” tasks traditional mindsets as it "dishonours" the great organization in Pakistani society - the family. Without a family agreement, weddings are usually frowned upon.

Proposal

In arranged marriages, the first visit is only for the get-togethers to become familiar with one another and does not include a formal proposal.Once both parties are in agreement.An offer party is held at the bride's home, where the groom's parents and family seniors officially ask the bride's parents for her hand in wedding.In love weddings, the boy openly proposes to the girl. Once the marriage proposal is established, refreshments are served. Dependent on individual family traditions, the bride-to-be may also be offered with gifts such as a variety of gifts. Some religious families may also recite Surah Al-Fatih.
Engagementeent
An engagement is a formal celebration to marks the official engagement of the couple. It is a small celebration that takes place in the existence of a few nearby members of the would-be bride's and groom’s families. Rings and other things of jewellery among wealthy families are swapped between the would-be bride and groom. In traditional weddings, the bride and the groom are not sat together, and the rings are placed on the bride's finger by the groom's mother or sister. Mayun Upton Mehendi
The ceremony is the Mayun it is a tradition where the bride go in a state of isolation for 8 to 15 days earlier to the wedding, she is free from doing all responsibilities and running shopping and the bride and groom are not tolerable to see each other, in fact the bride can't even leave her house. This is when the beautification rituals begin. Upton is the next minor occasion in which a paste is formed using turmeric, sandalwood powder, herbs and oils, which the groom's mother brings for the bride. She blesses the bride and applies the Upton - mixture on her face and hands. It is an event involving primarily of females, they apply henna on the bride and each other, they sing and dance is performed on the bride- that is they ward off evil from the bride. Later the ceremony there is dinner, and traditionally the bride veils her face in the event. Wedding ceremony
Hosting the wedding event be different between different cultures. In Punjabi marriages, the event traditionally hosted by the family of the bride, but in Baloch marriages, the event is traditionally hosted by the family of the groom. Currently, it has become common to hold the ceremony at a wedding hall, restaurant or hotel.
Borat And nikah
The Borat and Nikah generally happen together or one after the other. It is the formal event of the marriage; it is when the grooms family and relatives or friends make way to the bride's home. They are lovingly welcomed. It is there that they share juices and foods and meet and respond to each other. This mostly happens in the Barat. The nikah is the decently Islamic ritual, it is present by only close members, men and women are sat distinctly. Rukhsti
Takes place when the groom, his family and the bride leave the Nikkah scene together. At this point, the bride and groom are wedded in the eyes of God and this the Bride's farewell to her family.
valima
After that Valima is organized by groom's family. As in Barat bride whole family, relatives and friends take parts. Same is the case in Valima. All members of groom family take part in this function. Islam is in favour of Valima event. This is dinner in honour of that wedding couple. Thank you for reading my post about Pakistani wedding.
