Quiero comenzar esta participación con el agradecimiento a esta hermosa comunidad por realizar esta iniciativa homenaje al día de la mujer y de la felicidad, que nos brinda el espacio para compartir esos momentos que nos quedan grabados en la memoria y que nos llevan a reír, llorar, avergonzar o hasta a ser referencia de otras historias. Nunca vi a mi papá pintar la casa, lo hacíamos mis hermanos y yo por mandato de mi mamá, recuerdo que me tocaba pintar mi cuarto tendría 14 años, mi hermanita menor que yo seis años, le tocaba ayudarme ya que la habitación era de las dos, mis hermanos varones, que son dos, pintaban su cuarto y entre todos el resto de la casa, mi papá pasaba y decía: ¡Si lo van hacer, aprendan como los profesionales que no manchan nada! Su actitud era de molestia, porque yo no sabía que era mujer y hacía cosas de hombre, y sin embargo, él no pintaba la casa. Recuerdo que mi papá me decía desde los 12 años cuando me desarrollé, que tenía que aprender a ser mujer, que al levantarme en la mañana debía acomodar mi cabello con acondicionador, ganchos, rollos, arreglarme las uñas, y cuidar la piel de mi rostro y en la tarde, que me vistiera con vestido y zapatillas con tacones altos, el cabellos suelto, y sentarme a leer o a charlar, me da mucha risa porque yo por el contrario, jugaba con papagayos, corría y andaba en bicicleta, no me peinaba; pero esa cantaleta diaria algo hizo, me cuide la piel, el cabello y las uñas, aprendí desde niña a usar zapatillas con tacones altos, pero sólo el domingo para ir a misa y en las fiestas decembrinas. --- --- Mi papá me dijo que al cumplir los 18 años me dejaría conducir el vehículo de la casa, pero previo debía obtener la licencia de conducir; yo conducía una Pick-Up de una tía desde mis 15 años cuando la acompañaba a su finca agropecuaria, que era una carretera a las afueras del pueblo donde vivo. Conducía alrededor de 20min, y apenas pasaban algunos vehículos, mi mamá sabía y mi papá lo suponía, jajaja, por eso los permisos para ir sola con mi tía eran restringidos. Cuando cumplí los 18 años hice todas las diligencias para obtener la licencia, le comenté a mi papá que estaba cumpliendo con los requisitos para la licencia, entre ellos además de los documentos, había una prueba escrita, yo me estudie las normas de tránsito y los artículos de la Ley que correspondía. El día de la prueba escrita que fue en la mañana mi papá me llevo hasta el departamento de tránsito terrestre, se bajó y me acompañó hasta que entré a la prueba, estuvo allí bromeando y tranquilo, cuando terminé salí a buscarlo y no estaba, luego el funcionario me dijo: “Ahora viene el examen práctico, cada uno en su vehículo y un fiscal los acompaña”. Esa parte de los requisitos no la sabía, así que me escabullí y salí a buscar cómo resolver esa situación, no tenía vehículo ni había manejado en el pueblo, nuevamente las ideas vienen cuando el objetivo es claro jajajaja, me fui a buscar a mi tía que estaba en su trabajo cerca del lugar, al llegar le conté lo que estaba sucediendo y ella riendo me dijo: “Vamos, yo te doy mi carro, tranquila que tú sabes manejar”. Al llegar busqué a la funcionaria encargada y al verme me dijo: “Eres la única que falta por conducir, ¿dónde estabas?” Le respondí que fui a buscar el vehículo y ella me dijo que no era necesario ya que allí había. La cuestión es que mi tía estacionó de tal manera que debía retroceder en dirección diagonal para poder salir y yo sólo sabía conducir recto por la carretera, no sabía retroceder, mi tía me entregó las llaves, ella se sentó en la parte trasera, la funcionaria de copiloto y yo bien sentada al volante, encendí el carro, coloqué el retroceso y salí recto, no sabía hacia donde debía dar al volante si a la izquierda o a la derecha, nuevamente moví la palanca en Drive y coloque el carro en su lugar, apagué el motor y le dije: “No puedo manejar, estoy nerviosa. Ella me miró y me preguntó: “¿Sabes manejar? Le dije que sí, y me dijo: “¡Te creo!”, firmó, me entrego la licencia, y le di las gracias; luego salí corriendo de allí, ¿Adivinen adónde? Donde estaba mi papá y el carro, en su trabajo y le dije: “Aquí está el papel, dame el carro!, jajajajajaja. Mi papá sonrió y me preguntó cómo había hecho con el carro y la prueba, le contesté: “Sabías de la prueba práctica y no me dijiste, yo resolví”. --- --- Gracias a Dios lo saco él, luego así lo hicimos, me monté y conduje recto a mi casa que estaba como a seis cuadras, al llegar salió mi mamá alegre y felicitándome, se montó y me dijo: “Ahora vamos a salir nosotras”. Ella fue mi maestra de manejo, aunque no manejaba sabía cómo hacerlo, cuando yo estaba pequeña vivíamos en una ciudad con mucho más tránsito, ella se inscribió en una autoescuela y sacó su licencia, las dos o tres veces que manejo mi papá iba de copiloto diciéndole que chocaría o que podía atropellar a alguien, era todo un terror, entonces decidió no manejar nunca más, él no quería que manejara porque según él las mujeres no saben y no tienen destreza, era lo que le decía, así que conmigo no se montó, jajajajaja. I drove about 20 minutes, and hardly a few vehicles passed, my mom knew and my dad guessed, hahaha, that's why the permits to go alone with my aunt were restricted. When I turned 18, I did all the steps to obtain the license, I told my dad that I was fulfilling the requirements for the license, among them, in addition to the documents, there was a written test, I studied traffic regulations and articles of the corresponding Law. The day of the written test, which was in the morning, my dad took me to the land traffic department, he got out and accompanied me until I entered the test, he was there joking and calm, when I finished I went out to look for him and he was not there, then The official told me: "Now comes the practical exam, each one in their vehicle and a prosecutor accompanies them." I didn't know that part of the requirements, so I slipped away and went looking for how to solve that situation, I didn't have a vehicle and I hadn't driven in town, again the ideas come when the objective is clear hahahaha, I went to look for my aunt who was at work near the place, when I arrived I told her what was happening and she laughed and told me: "Come on, I'll give you my car, don't worry, you know how to drive." When I arrived I looked for the official in charge and when she saw me she told me: "You're the only one left to drive, where were you?" I replied that I went to look for the vehicle and she told me that it was not necessary since it was there. The point is that my aunt parked in such a way that I had to back up diagonally to get out and I only knew how to drive straight down the road, I didn't know how to back up, my aunt handed me the keys, she sat in the back, the officer as co-pilot and I was well seated at the wheel, I started the car, I put the reverse and went straight, I did not know where I should give the wheel if to the left or to the right, I moved the lever to Drive again and put the car in its place, I turned off the engine and told her: “I can't drive, I'm nervous. She looked at me and asked, “Do you know how to drive? I told her yes, and she told me: “I believe you!” She signed, gave me the license, and I thanked her; then I ran out of there, guess where?
