What am I doing now? Why am I here starting my own steemit blog? ----- WHO AM I?

It has been a tradition in the steemit community to introduce one's self before anything else. Honestly, I have no idea why I came here. Nevertheless, let me show you a glimpse of who I am. It's a privilege to introduce myself to the steemit community.

You know someone who would choose a movie night over partying on a weekend? Or who loves the comfort of her bed and fluffy sheets than an overcrowded and obnoxiously loud mall? If not, then you know one now.

I classify myself as an extroverted introvert. Though I would rejoice knowing that I would have a weekend all to myself, I also can never resist my friends who call out to me for help and support. After a hectic day at university(BTW, I am majoring in Business Management), I would always find time for myself. A time to replenish,recharge, and reflect on God's word.

Let's now talk about my hobbies and interests: dogs, books, food, and photography.

DOGS

I proudly introduce my queens to the steemit community. Meet Unica(my fluffy pillow) and Percy(the selfie queen).

I'd die for these babies. Ever since I was a kid, I would always pet other people's dogs and wish I had my own. I got my first pupper, Van-go, when I was in high school but unfortunately, she died after a year. I grieved. I couldn't get myself to hold other dogs after she died.

The Bronze Pup

On my second year in college, my best friend, who happens to be my boyfriend's sister, had a dog who would soon be giving birth. I stayed all night at their house when her dog gave birth. As soon as I laid my eyes on the bronze colored pup, I fell in love. It was as if I forgot how much I was hurt when Van-go died. It felt like I was ready to be a dog mom again. On that night, the words "I'll have that bronze pup" came out of my mouth all of a sudden. And even when I haven't touched her yet, I already named her "Unica".

From "Show her to me" to Send her to me" real quick

My boyfriend, who lives far away from me since I'm attending university at my dad's hometown, video called me one night saying that he would give his pitbull's baby up for adoption. The first thing I said was "show her to me", then I saw a white heart-shaped mark on the little baby dog's forehead. That was when I caught myself begging my boyfriend to "send her to me". But I had a better idea. I decided instantaneously that I would go home and visit my mom who lives in the same city as my boyfriend and fetch the pup. I didn't mind the expenses(airfare and shipping fees) I had to pay. I just know in my heart that I need and want that puppy in my arms. I badly wanted to be Percy's human mom. I have never regretted my impulsive decision two years ago. And I guess it's safe to say that I never will.

So... That's part one of my introduction. I hope you guys liked it and related to some parts of what I wrote.
