Wow que grato es poder comenzar este lunes de agujas compartiendo con ustedes mi aventura en la finalización del taller de costura, les quiero comentar que este grupo comenzó con más de 20 personas que quizás se habían cruzado en el camino pero que llegaron a ser una gran familia en la costura.

Aunque yo particularmente me tuve que ausentar durante las últimas 5 semanas debido a un desafío de salud que me mantuvo en cama durante la mayor parte de ese tiempo, cada día pude compartir con ellos de sus avances y logros, de vez en cuando algunos de los que estaban dando sus primeros pasos me solicitaban que les guaira a través de video llamadas y les compartía uno que otro tips de los que he aprendido de muchos de ustedes.

> Although I personally had to be absent for the last five weeks due to a health challenge that kept me in bed for most of that time, every day I was able to share with them their progress and achievements. From time to time, some of those who were taking their first steps asked me to guide them through video calls, and I shared with them some of the tips I have learned from many of you.

No fue nada grato quedarme con muchas prendas cortadas y sin poder coserlas a tiempo, hubieron días llenos de tristezas y frustración al ver como cada uno de mis compañeros mostraban sus avances y yo seguía estancada en cama, pues los dolores en mis huesos no eran para nada normal, y aunque hubo días que me vencía el deseo de retomar la costura luego de 10 minutos sentada a la maquina mi espalda me la cobraba caro.

> It was not pleasant to be left with many cut garments and unable to sew them on time. There were days full of sadness and frustration as I watched each of my classmates show their progress while I remained stuck in bed, because the pain in my bones was not normal at all, and although there were days when I was overcome by the desire to resume sewing, after 10 minutes sitting at the machine, my back took its toll.

Así que no tuve más que aceptar mi prueba y compartir con mi amado grupo de sus éxitos, cada semana durante las clases me pasaban audios y saludos para animarme y darme fuerzas para vencer mi desafío de salud y así poder compartir con ellos, la última clase o quizás el día de nuestra evaluación final, el cual sería en una exhibición a puertas abiertas en la institución, en donde seriamos evaluados por las autoridades académicas regionales.

Por lo que puse todo de mi parte y soporté mi reposo con mucho juicio, cuidándome de alguna brisa de lluvia y fortaleciendo mi sistema inmune, y fue así como logré estar bien para ese gran día, en el cual pude reencontrarme con esa gran familia en la costura, hoy día seguimos compartiendo nuestras aventuras creativas desafiándonos a nosotros mismo a crear algo de nuestra propia autoría y así ayudarnos unos a otros en esta aventura del diseño, patronaje y costura.

> So I did my best and endured my rest with great care, protecting myself from any rain and strengthening my immune system, and that's how I managed to be well for that big day, where I was able to reconnect with that great family in sewing.
