This is it, the final chapter of my 2016 fractal explorations.

With these works, I went a little further and implemented so-called "Xaos loops". The result is that multiple (seperate) fractals can exist within the same composition, sort of like layering in Photoshop, but instead of image layers, they are sets of mathematical rules. This opens up a whole new world of compositional possibilities...

Needless to say, they also take a lot more time to get right. You could go wild, like mixing linear patterns and organic shapes and add a little fibonacci-sause on top. But that'll quickly look like a disjointed mess and the whole thing will be lacking coherence. So making several fractals that are somewhat related to eachother (the same "DNA" but different outcomes) is what I went for, and here are the results...
