Hello friends of hive I hope you are doing well, today I wanted to share with you a recipe for churros that I tried a few days ago.

I'm very happy to share this recipe with you because these are my first churros and for my first time they turned out especially well, the chocolate topping gave them the perfect touch to enhance the flavor. Oh, and I forgot, this is also my first publication in this community 🤍.

In a saucepan over medium heat put the water, butter, sugar and pinch of salt. When it boils add the flour and with a plastic or wooden paddle mix everything until the flour is integrated and a dough is formed. You will know it is ready when the dough does not stick to the walls of the pan and forms a ball of dough. When these changes are seen, it is removed from the fire.

En una olla a fuego medio poner el agua, la mantequilla, el azúcar y la pizca de sal. Cuando hierva agregar la harina y con una paleta ya sea de plástico o de madera mezclar todo hasta integrar la harina y formar una masa. Se sabrá que está lista cuando la masa no se pegue a las paredes de la olla y se forme una bola de masa. Cuando se vean estos cambios se retira del fuego.

Let the dough cool for about 5 minutes, and then add the eggs and vanilla, you can use an electric mixer to make it easier to integrate the ingredients. After the dough is ready, take a pastry bag with a star nozzle and put the mixture inside, ideally you should have a churrera but you can also use a piping bag.

Se deja enfriar la masa durante unos 5 minutos, y luego se le agregan los huevos y la vainilla, se puede hacer uso de una batidora eléctrica para que se haga más fácil integrar los ingredientes. Luego de que la masa esté lista, tomar una manga pastelera con una boquilla tipo estrellas y meter la mezcla dentro, lo ideal es tener una churrera pero también se puede usar la manga.

Put a pot with enough oil over medium/high heat for a few minutes until the oil is hot. Now you can start making the churros.

For the chocolate bath we are going to boil the water and then put it in the blender, once there we are going to add the milk and the sugar that previously we are going to put in a bowl together, we add spoonful by spoonful until there is no more milk with sugar and that is when we are going to add the oil in a thread. Once we have added the oil, the preparation will be ready.

Para el baño de chocolate vamos a hervir el agua y luego ponerla en la licuadora una vez allí vamos a ir agregando la leche y el azúcar que previamente vamos a poner en un bol juntos, agregamos cucharada por cucharada hasta que ya no quede leche con azúcar y ahí es cuando vamos a echar el aceite en un hilo. Cuando ya hayamos echado el aceite estará lista la preparación.

We transfer the mixture to a bowl and add the cocoa, with a paddle or spoon we integrate the cocoa and it is ready to combine with the churros and eat.😊💕

Pasamos la mezcla a un bol y le agregamos el cacao, con una paleta o cuchara integramos el cacao y listo está listo para combinar con los churros y comer.😊💕
