Título: En busca de la mano perfecta
¡Hola una vez más, colegas de Hive! Como algunos de ustedes habrán notado, he estado ausente por un tiempo, así que es un placer saludarlos una vez más. Hoy quería venir y compartir con la comunidad esta nueva práctica que he comenzado:

I have set out to draw a minimum of 30 hands to practice and improve my ability to draw this body part, and in the end see how much practice helps me by drawing a final pair of hands (those would be the perfect hands I am looking for). I know that 30 hands is very little practice to really improve my skill, maybe drawing 500 hands is not enough; but as I said, 30 is only the minimum, so I will surely do more. So far I've only done 10.

Se trata, por supuesto, de dibujar manos. Me he propuesto dibujar un mínimo de 30 manos para practicar y mejorar mi habilidad para dibujar esta parte del cuerpo, y al final ver cuánto me ayuda la práctica dibujando un último par de manos (esas serían las manos perfectas que estoy buscando). Sé que 30 manos es muy poca práctica para mejorar realmente mi habilidad, tal vez dibujar 500 manos no sea suficiente; pero como dije, 30 es sólo el mínimo, así que seguramente haré más. Hasta ahora sólo he hecho 10.

La mano número 1 fue la primera que hice, y pueden ver lo extraña que me quedó. Debo intentar otra vez esa pose jajaja

Por cierto, mi objetivo no es hacer manos estrictamente realistas, sino manos que parezcan bastante estéticas pero en mi estilo de dibujo cómic/manga.

To make the sketches I use an ordinary writing pencil (number 2 or something like that) and to ink I use a simple pen. I couldn't document that process because I don't have anything to take pictures with. The pictures in this post were taken quickly with a borrowed phone hehe

Hago estas manos a partir de una sencilla técnica para hacer bocetos de manos que aprendí en Youtube, y tomando como referencia poses de manos reales que encuentro en Internet, como esta. Para hacer los bocetos utilizo un lápiz de escribir normal (el número 2 o algo así) y para la tinta utilizo un simple bolígrafo. No pude documentar ese proceso porque no tengo nada con que tomar fotos. Las fotos de este post fueron tomadas rápidamente con un teléfono prestado jeje

Esta es la última mano que hice después de practicar con las 10 manos anteriores. Todavía no es la mano perfecta que estoy buscando, así que después de 20 manos lo intentaré de nuevo ;-) ¿Y ustedes qué tan buenos son con las manos?
