أهلا بالجميع،

يمثل هذا الموضوع طلبي لأكون مراقب أو مترجم معتمد في مشروع دافينشي القائم على رأس سلسلة الكتل الخاصة بعملة (Steem).

اسمي إيهاب شهاب من فلسطين – غزة مهندس ميكانيكيي ومترجم، حاصل على شهادة البكالوريوس من جامعة حلوان في مصر، وحاليا أقوم بدراسة الماستر في تخصص علوم الهندسة الميكانيكية. حبي للترجمة بدا منذ الصغر، كان أبي يعمل مع UNDP وكان في بعض الأوقات يأخذني معه هناك فانطبع حب اللغة في داخلي وحب اكتشاف كلمات جديدة في أي فرصة متاحة.

في وقت دراستي للهندسة، عملت كمرشد سياحي ومترجم للسياح وهذا ساعدني في مصاريف جامعتي وبما أن اللغة الإنجليزية يجب أن تتوفر في جميع الوظائف، وظيفة المرشد السياحي ساعدتني كثيرا وفتحت لي آفاق وأبواب لم أكن أعرفها من قبل. عندما أنهيت دراستي توظفت كمهندس ميكانيكي في محطات تحلية مياه البحر ولكن حبي للترجمة لم يتوقف، لذلك قررت أن انضم إلى (freelancing) أو ما يسمى بالعمل المستقل.

أنا الأن حاليا عضو في الكثير من المنصات التي تقدم العمل المستقل مثل منصات (Fiverr/ Upwork/Freelancer)، وارغب في التوسع والانضمام للمزيد. العمل المستقل فتح لي نافذة وفرصة لأعمل ما أحب. بعض من الأعمال المستقلة التي قمت بها:

• مترجم خاص للشركات الصغيرة، خاصة ترجمة (عقود، فواتير، تفريغ التسجيلات الصوتية.
• خدمة العملاء لدى مواقع التسوق كانت وظيفتي تتمثل في الاتصال على الهند وأمريكا وبريطانيا ومن ثم تفريغ المكالمات الصوتية وترجمتها.

Hello Everyone,
     This post represents my application for the Davinci project (An open source translation project based on top of the steem blockchain) in order to be a member of the approved LM|T.
     My name is Ehab Shihab and I’m from Palestine-Gaza. I’m a mechanical engineer and a translator, I got my degree from Helwan university – Egypt, I’m currently studying for my master degree in science of mechanical engineering. My love for English language started when I was very young. My father used to work for UNDP and I used to go with him sometimes so it was printed in me since I was a kid to love this new language and to learn new phrases every chance. Growing up when I was studying for my bachelor degree I worked as a guide / translator for tourist to get extra money for college.
     Since the English language is a must in all jobs, the guide job helped me a lot and opened to me a new door I did not know it was existing. When I finished my collage, I started working as a mechanical engineer for water desalination plant. However, my love for translation never stopped.
     So, I joined the freelancing community where I can translate books, articles, contracts and even video description and sound transcription.
     I’m now a member at many freelancing communities Like Upwork, freelancer, Fiverr, etc. and I’m really looking to expand even more. Freelancing opened me a window and opportunity to practice what I like
     Some of the work I have done: I worked as a translator for some small company (translation of contracts, bills, transcription of audio sounds etc.) I also worked as a remote customer service for online shopping websites, I was given the task of calling uk-us-India for customer support then transcript and translate the calls.
