Are you planning to make some GINGER BREAD COOKIES, For this week's recipe I thought I'd share my recipe for my favorite GINGER BREAD COOKIES .. I make this for at least once a month for my siblings...

Ingredients:

* 6 cups flour

* 3 teaspoons baking powder

* 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

* 1/4 teaspoon salt

* 2 tablespoon ground ginger

* 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

* 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

* 12 tablespoons unsalted butter

* 1/2 cup dark brown sugar

* 2 large egg

* 1 cup honey or maple syrup

* 3 teaspoons vanila

GINGERBREAD COOKIES RECIPE:

For making the yummy and perfect GINGER BREAD COOKIES preheat your oven to 375F. In a large mixing bowl, mix together all of your dry ingredients flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon, cloves & mix it with a spoon keep aside. In a large bowl using a hand mixer beat butter, brown sugar, and egg on medium speed until all of the ingredients are well blended.

Now the sweet part... Add honey, vanilla at the egg mixer and continue to mix until it looks a well blended mixer. Gradually and softly stir all the dry ingredients until and start to blend and make it smooth. Divide dough in four part and wrap each half in plastic and let stand at room temperature for at least 6 hours. Now take cookie sheets with parchment paper.

Place 2 portion of the dough on a lightly floured surface. remember don't use too much flour . Now roll dough 1/2 inch thick. Here u will use flour to avoid stickiness of the dough Cut out cookies with desired cutter with the ginger bread. Space cookies 1 1/2-inches apart. Bake them 7-10 minutes at your preheated oven :) After cookies are cool you will decorate them any way you like. decorated with Royal icing. ENJOY!!!!!! Hope you have enjoyed this easy.
