Hola que tal, mis agradecimientos a la amiga @charjaim , por proponer esta maravilla de iniciativa, tantas cosas en el baúl, tantos recuerdos que me hacen devolver el tiempo y volver a vivir esos días porque [La vida de estudiante es la mejor](https://hive.blog/hive-131951/@charjaim/la-vida-de-estudiante-es) Todo en la vida se logra con trabajo y sacrificio, y recuerdo que el primer día de clases de mi hijo mayor mientras le lustraba un poco los zapatos, acomodaba su mochila, alistaba lonchera, merienda y demás, yo pensaba que en mis tiempos de estudio solo necesitábamos tres cosas, cuaderno, lápiz y ganas de aprender. Siempre he creído que mis inicios en la escuela fueron los más maravillosos del mundo, a pesar que vivíamos en una finca y mi padre como podía nos llevaba a la escuela más cercana, en bicicleta, en caballo o en una carreta con un burro viejo que muchas veces preferíamos caminar por lo lento que iba, la alegría de llegar al salón y ver aquella señora con grandes lentes y sus manos teñidas de blanco por la tiza que acababa de utilizar para colocarnos la primera de hasta cinco actividades que nos hacía en la mañana era un panorama tan especial para mí. En ese momento no necesitábamos solo del lápiz y el cuaderno y una vez al año unos señores que llegaban muy bien vestidos, nos llevaban unos libros y los colocábamos en un pequeño estante del salón, naturaleza, biología y matemáticas eran los más grandes pero ni decir el de historia de Venezuela. La escuela donde inicie la primaria era una escuela rural a los maestros no les importaba si íbamos con zapatos o en cholas, descalzos como fuera si algunos niños no tenían su camisa blanca no importaba podían ir con el color que tuvieran, lo importante era asistir, por otro lado se de algunos niños que eran muy pobre y solo iban a la escuela a recibir el desayuno y almuerzo que en ese momento nos daban atravesó de un programa de alimentación escolar (como olvidar los vasos de aluminio que contenían lactovisoy). ![IMG_5053.JPG](https://images.hive.blog/DQmZu4tNjuEW4DnbEbidU7bcoarJV6pk5Grt2WPQ6kAUvYK/IMG_5053.JPG) Al iniciar el 1er año en el liceo fue un poco más difícil no solo por la enseñanza sino por lo lejano que esta la hacienda del liceo y debía madrugar mucho para salir a la entrada y esperar un autobús para llegar al centro y esperar en el centro otro para ir al liceo, era una travesía diaria, yo siempre he sido delgada y mis cabellos crespos, imagínense en esos tiempos parecía un verdadero micrófono jajajaja. Luego mis padres logran comprar una casa un poco más a la salida del pueblo y ya no tenía que madrugar mucho. Everything in life is achieved with hard work and sacrifice, and I remember that on my oldest son's first day of school while I was polishing his shoes, arranging his backpack, preparing his lunch box, snack and so on, I thought that in my study days we only needed three things, notebook, pencil and the desire to learn.

I have always believed that my beginnings in school were the most wonderful in the world, even though we lived on a farm and my father took us to the nearest school as he could, by bicycle, on horseback or in a cart with an old donkey that many times we preferred to walk because of how slowly it went, the joy of arriving at the classroom and seeing that lady with big glasses and her hands stained white by the chalk she had just used to place the first of up to five activities she did for us in the morning was such a special sight for me. At that time we didn't need only a pencil and a notebook and once a year some well-dressed gentlemen would bring us some books and we would place them on a small shelf in the classroom, nature, biology and mathematics were the biggest ones but not to mention the history of Venezuela. The school where I started elementary school was a rural school, the teachers didn't care if we went with shoes or in cholas, barefoot or whatever, if some children didn't have their white shirt it didn't matter, they could go with the color they had, the important thing was to attend, on the other hand I know of some children who were very poor and only went to school to receive breakfast and lunch that at that time they gave us through a school feeding program (how to forget the aluminum cups that contained lactovisoy).

Then my parents managed to buy a house a little further out of town and I no longer had to get up early.
