Volví a mi rutina de escuela en las mañanas y mis tardes eran aburridas , mi mamá iba en un bus camino a su trabajo cuando escucho en la radio sobre audiciones para un festival de música llanera , anoto el número y me animo a que me aprendiera una canción para participar , yo accedí sin mucho interés para complacer a mi mamá puesto que eso no era para aquel momento de mi interés

El día del festival llegó y mi madre estaba muy a gusto con este asunto de cantar , cuando mi turno llegó lo hice sin mucha preocupación y al parecer mi actuación gusto a las personas presentes , tanto así que gane un tercer lugar en medio de tantos niños que llevaban algunos años en esto del canto , tanto mi madre como mis abuelos quedaron impresionados por aquella situación yo no sabía para aquel momento la magnitud del asunto

Desde ese día y en adelante me apunte a la música por un periodo de 5 años consecutivos dónde tome clases particulares y grupales , me sentía muy bien con lo que hacia y los méritos que tenía por cada participación, pero mi tristeza llegó cuando puse los 12 años con el cambio de voz , aquella voz tan afinada fue tomando su rumbo y en ese tiempo comencé a sentir la verdadera preocupación por algo , yo, un niño al que nunca le preocupo más que jugar cantar y ser feliz ...

Está situación marco tanto mis días que al llegar la adolescencia tuve un giro en mi vida , nunca pensé que esa situación cambiara mi estado de ánimo , mi actitud , mi forma de ser , en el año siguiente me mostré muy callado no me gustaba conversar con nadie por mi voz chillona y quebradiza, pase de ser un niño feliz a un adolescente solo , sentí que al dejar la música algo que según yo no era de mi interés , dejaba parte de mi en cada día que pasaba

Hoy en dia me pongo a pensar todo lo que hice de niño lo sigo haciendo ahora de grande , es decir, aunque pase por muchas disciplinas deportivas en este momento soy amante al deporte en específico al voleibol , aunque ya no canto formalmente como antes toco el bajo eléctrico y canto a capela pero es que me encanta la música , lo que hacemos en nuestra niñez verdaderamente marca nuestras vidas para bien o para mal , gracias a Dios mi niñez fue feliz por qué en este momento puedo decir con certeza que soy una persona feliz haciendo lo que verdaderamente me gusta , la música y el deporte
