KEYS FOR THE PROCESS OF SUCCESS: INTENTION, ATTENTION, AND NON TENSION

We speak of intention when we have the willingness to do something, to start. Sometimes this is related to our dreams or aspirations. Nevertheless, we have to plant our feet firmly on the ground. For this reason, this intention has to be accompanied by a plan of action that will make our goal be excellent.

Once this excellent goal is established, there is a second dimension which is attention. This refers to being very clear about what we want and the steps we must take. Something important to emphasize is that the process for changing negative thoughts could infect us with the flu. It is important to keep away from them and continue forward with what we have proposed. In this process of immunization against “no”, we must detect how much power we give to the judgment of others and habit. Our behavior as an excellent and successful server is related to the confidence that we have in our own virtues. Then, it is important to pay attention to that which really favors our performance as a server.

A scale of values should be composed of:

· Social commitment: being at the service of humanity

· Ecology: that our actions do not harm others

· Service: giving the best of ourselves to humanity

· Excellence: that the road to happiness is built with quality ·

Passion: acting with a lot of contagious enthusiasm

· Ethics: complying with universal codes

· Humility: equality

· Image: inspire others

Finally, non tension is achieved by letting things flow. Working to succeed should not leave us sleepless. That is, while we work, we should connect with the energy of enthusiasm.

I listened to a television interview with Marci Shimmoff, author of the book “Happy for No Reason” and, one of the books of the series “Chicken Soup for the Soul”, summarized in the following way: Intention is being clear about what you want, focusing on a destination and later truly feeling that you have reached it. Attention is to experience your thoughts and feelings once you know what you want, and take the steps necessary so that what you visualized during the intention phase becomes evident. Non tension is the relaxation and low level of anxiety that should be generated when focusing yourself only on the goal.

Discover the world of possibilities which are presented during the process. When we firmly believe in that which we want, we let the situation flow and do the best. Then comes happiness and this happiness attracts greater enthusiasm and peace.
