Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes la aventura que viví cuando viaje a visitar a la famosa "Cueva del Guácharo" en el estado Monagas (Venezuela)

Para mi sin duda fue una experiencia unica, pero antes de seguir con mi experiencia, les contare algo de la historia. Entre los estados sucre y monagas, se encuentra una de las cuevas más espectaculares del mundo, debido a su longitud y dimensiones, la cual presenta gran número de salones. Oír el graznido de aproximadamente 10.000 guácharos que viven en las rocas calizas que al anochecer abandonan la cueva en busca de alimento, es una experiencia única. Aunque es algo escalofriante al escuchar el sonido de esos pájaros la experiencia es única.

For me it was certainly a unique experience, but before continuing with my experience, I will tell you something about the story. Between the Sucre and Monagas states, there is one of the most spectacular caves in the world, due to its length and dimensions, which has a large number of rooms. Hearing the squawk of approximately 10,000 guácharos that live in the limestone rocks that leave the cave at dusk in search of food is a unique experience. Although it is somewhat chilling when listening to the sound of those birds, the experience is unique.

Les mostrare algunas fotos, porque dentro de la cueva no se pueden tomar fotos, ni puede haber ningún tipo de luz, solo el guía turístico lleva una lampara de esas antiguas que no producen mucha luz.

Yo al principio no quería ni entrar, por lo oscuro de la cueva y el sonido de miles de guácharos jajaja, pero insistieron y entre! A medida que vas caminando dejas de ver la entrada de la cueva, y escuchas mas el sonido de los pájaros, el guía turístico va contando la historia y con la poca luz que llevar muestra en la paredes huellas de animales y otras cosas. Se llega solo a cierto limite de la cueva porque cada vez mas como que dificulta para respirar, pero es una experiencia única!

At first I didn't even want to go in, because of the darkness of the cave and the sound of thousands of guácharos hahaha, but they insisted and come in! As you walk, you stop seeing the entrance of the cave, and you hear more the sound of the birds, the tour guide tells the story and with the little light to bring, animal footprints and other things are displayed on the walls. You only reach a certain limit of the cave because more and more it makes it difficult to breathe, but it is a unique experience!

Ese es un museo que queda justo cerca de la cueva y se ven los restos de animales, los guacharos y otras especies

Caripe es agradable por su clima frio, y sus hermosos paisajes, ademas tienen unas cabañas espectaculares.
