Muchas personas dicen que es fácil ser bonita montarte en una tarima y caminar en tacones, perooo, no saben es trasfondo de todo esto, la preparación, entrega y dedicación para que todo fluya bien, dure trece años formándome como modelo y bailarina porque una reina de belleza debe ser integral tienes que saber de todo no basta con solo tener una cara bonita, a los jurados a parte de tu interacción y picardía también los atrapa la inteligencia.

Many people say that it is easy to be pretty, to get on a stage and walk in high heels, but they don't know the background of all this, the preparation, dedication and dedication for everything to flow well, I spent thirteen years training as a model and dancer because a beauty queen must be integral, you have to know everything, it is not enough just to have a pretty face, the juries besides your interaction and mischievousness also catches them intelligence.

No es fácil ensayar durante 2 meses estar siempre en unos tacones que tu cabello tenga que ser planchado todos los días, full maquillaje pero al que le apasiona no le ve los defectos.

Les contare una de mis experiencias para que me entiendan mejor, cuando tenía 11 años me escogieron como la reina del carnaval de mi colegio de ahí tenía que representar al colegio en el reinado del carnaval de mi municipio, empezamos a ensayar dos meses antes teníamos profesor de pasarela, de baile, oratoria, teatro, danza árabe, protocolo, en fin muchas actividades que no nos esperábamos, como les había dicho ya tenía experiencia porque estoy en este mundo desde que tenía 4 años en cambio algunas de mis compañeras tenían desventajas porque era su primer concurso.

I will tell you one of my experiences so that you understand me better, when I was 11 years old I was chosen as the carnival queen of my school from there I had to represent the school in the carnival reign of my town, we started rehearsing two months before we had a teacher of catwalk, dance, speech, theater, Arabic dance, protocol, in short many activities that we did not expect, as I had said I already had experience because I am in this world since I was 4 years old instead some of my classmates had disadvantages because it was their first contest.

La mayoría de los ensayos empezaban a las 9AM y por lo general terminaban a las 5PM era muy agotador pero también divertido, saben que las candidatas tienen un orden de salida y yo era la N°1 porque el profesor me pregunto que qué tan inteligente me consideraba y le dije que un 10 muy segura de mí a lo que él me responde okey eres la primera en salir, llego el día de la sesión de fotos en este concurso te hacen un cambio de look y yo no quería porque mi cabello estaba súper largo pero bueno me deje y me encanto el resultado, la primera en tomarse las fotos fui yo y me sentí en confianza me salió todo muy bien.

Most of the rehearsals started at 9AM and usually ended at 5PM it was very tiring but also fun, you know that the candidates have a starting order and I was the N°1 because the teacher asked me how smart I considered myself and I said a 10 very sure of myself to which he answered me okey you are the first to leave, The day of the photo shoot came and in this contest they make you change your look and I didn't want to because my hair was super long but I let myself and I loved the result, the first one to take the pictures was me and I felt confident and everything went very well.

Después de un mes de tanto sufrir, llorar, reír, por fin llego uno de los días más esperados por todas nosotras la presentación a la prensa, ese día teníamos que estar todas a las 6AM en la plaza miranda para hacer las pruebas antes de hacer el show como tal terminamos de marcar tarima nos dieron instrucciones y ya teníamos que irnos corriendo a la academia a que nos peinaran y maquillaran, este evento era uno de los más glamurosos del estado este evento siempre retumbaba por todos lados de lo majestuoso que era, al llegar a la academia nos estaban esperando 5 estilistas y 5 maquilladores (éramos 10 niñas) mientras a unas las peinaban otras se maquillaban era muy divertido puedo decir el mejor concurso en el que estuve.

After a month of suffering, crying, laughing, finally came one of the most awaited days for all of us the presentation to the press, that day we had to be all at 6AM in the plaza miranda to do the tests before doing the show as such we finished marking the stage they gave us instructions and we had to go running to the academy to have our hair and make up done, This event was one of the most glamorous in the state, this event always rumbled everywhere because of how majestic it was, when we arrived at the academy 5 stylists and 5 make-up artists were waiting for us (we were 10 girls) while some were doing our hair others were doing their make-up, it was a lot of fun I can say the best contest I have ever been to.

A eso de las 6 de la tarde ya nos esperaba el auto bus para llevarnos al evento, las emociones que todas teníamos no era normal el lugar estaba repleto de gente, nos cambiamos y ese evento fue muy puntual, hicimos el opening todo nos salió bien éramos unas madamas del callao, luego del opening nos tocaba el primes desfile con el mismo traje con el que bailamos y que rico sentir nervios y al salir sentir tanta paz y tranquilidad de hacer lo que te gusta mientras mucha gente grita tu nombre y te apoya, luego venia un desfile en traje de moda estilo europeo la temática era que teníamos que se maniquíes, arrancamos con el baile final que era “el himno de las reinas” con un traje rojo y guantes fabuloso.

At about 6 pm the bus was waiting for us to take us to the event, the emotions that we all had was not normal, the place was full of people, we changed and the event was very punctual, we did the opening and everything went well, we were madams from Callao, After the opening we had the first parade with the same costume with which we danced and how nice to feel nerves and to leave feeling so much peace and tranquility to do what you like while many people shout your name and support you, then came a parade in European style fashion costume the theme was that we had to be mannequins, we started with the final dance which was "the hymn of the queens" with a red suit and fabulous gloves.

Comienza la entrega de bandas especiales solo habían 4 sonrisa, pasarela, fotogénica y cabello más lindo, todas estábamos nerviosas porque obvio queríamos recibir una banda, empiezan a llamar y yo estaba un poco triste porque ya habían dicho tres y no me habían llamado a mi cuando anuncian que me gane la última banda que era fotogénica mi emoción no cabía dentro de mi alma, todas caminamos a la pasarela con la primera dama nos tomaron las fotos oficiales y se acabó el show por ese día, ese era el abre bocas el inicio de todo, me sentí muy complacida porque siento que todo el esfuerzo valió la pena.

We were all nervous because obviously we wanted to receive a band, they started to call and I was a little sad because they had already said three and they had not called me when they announced that I won the last band that was photogenic my excitement did not fit inside my soul, We all walked to the catwalk with the first lady and the official pictures were taken and the show was over for the day, that was the opening of the mouth and the beginning of everything, I felt very pleased because I feel that all the effort was worth it.

Cuando llegamos al otro día a la academia el profesor nos dice bueno niñas nos queda una semana para preparar la gala final así que a ponerse los patines, todas estábamos así de QUEEE ya se acaba? Habíamos perdido la noción del tiempo y si eso era lo que nos quedaba juntas, esa semana ensayamos full hasta que llego el gran día, muchas emociones juntas pero bueno estábamos disfrutándolo al máximo, hicimos igual que el otro día marcamos tarima y luego a la academia, cuando ya estábamos listas nos fueron a recoger y llegamos al sitio nos pusimos nuestros trajes de opening y empezó esto.

When we arrived the next day at the academy the teacher told us well girls we have one week left to prepare for the final gala so let's get our skates on, we were all like this QUEEE it's already over? We had lost track of time and if that was what we had left together, that week we rehearsed full until the big day came, many emotions together but we were enjoying it to the fullest, we did the same as the other day we marked the stage and then to the academy, when we were ready we were picked up and arrived at the site we put on our opening costumes and this began.

Estábamos muy cansadas porque estábamos despiertas desde muy temprano, ya eran las 12 de la noche y nosotras no dábamos para más, ese día desfilamos en traje de opening, de fantasía y gala, mi traje de fantasía era inspirado en un pavo real ya que de pequeña cuando también fui reina del carnaval me habían hecho un traje de pavo real y por qué no repetirlo? Al mejor traje le dieron un premio se lo gano una amiga, después del traje de gala dieron una banda especial que era amistad y un trofeo al mejor rendimiento académico y adivinen quien se ganó el trofeo, la más estudiosa obvio yo jajaja, después de esto hicieron otra presentación y llego el momento de la coronación nos dimos las manos y empezaron a nombrar porque todas ganaban corona y banda pero habían dos puestos que eran los más importantes.

We were very tired because we were awake very early, it was already 12 o'clock at night and we did not give for more, that day we paraded in opening, fantasy and gala costume, my fantasy costume was inspired by a peacock because when I was little when I was also carnival queen I had made a peacock costume and why not repeat it? To the best costume they gave a prize to a friend of mine, after the gala costume they gave a special band that was friendship and a trophy to the best academic performance and guess who won the trophy, the most studious obviously me hahaha, after this they made another presentation and it was time for the coronation we shook hands and began to name because they all won crown and sash but there were two positions that were the most important.

--- No gane y a pesar de todo me disfrute todo el proceso viví cada etapa llena de ilusión y me llevo algo bonito que fue reconocimiento de todos aquellos que me conocieron y me dijeron que buen trabajo hiciste porque cuando se trabaja con el corazón y con mucho empeño lo demás no importa La enseñanza de todo esto es disfrutar no tienes que competir con nadie para ganar ¿sabes quién es tú verdadera competencia? Tú mismo busca superarte cada día y veras de lo que hablo Gracias por llegar hasta aquí un beso se me cuidan!

I didn't win but in spite of everything I enjoyed the whole process I lived each stage full of illusion and I took something nice with me which was the recognition of all those who knew me and told me what a good job you did because when you work with your heart and with a lot of effort, the rest doesn't matter. The lesson of all this is to enjoy, you don't have to compete with anyone to win, do you know who your real competition is?
