Hi Steemers! I have so much on my mind, so many ideas and dreams I'd love to pursue. But this one is one very serious to me, a priority, one which really makes me reflect on life and how grateful we must remain always....

In the UK alone, 7 MILLION TONNES of food and drinks gets wasted each year with more than half of it being good enough to eat and drink.

Despite the fact that the earth grows enough crops and even factories produce enough food to feed the world, I absolutely fail to comprehend in this 21st century we are living in, that according to the United Nations, on average 21,000 PEOPLE DIE EVERY DAY FROM HUNGER! Yes. Twenty-One-THOUSAND, that is one person every 4 seconds... and you wanna know what's worse? The majority are children!

Take a long look at this picture... Reflect... Contemplate for a moment...

There are millions of people across the globe right now suffering from hunger, dying from a source majority of us take for granted... Let's be real, how many of us eat for pleasure? Stuff our faces out of boredom? Yes, we are blessed with a damn good variety of food but let's not take it for granted. Let's not waste...

Remember this little boy the next time you complain about your food...

No, I'm not a super hero and I know as much as I want to, I wouldn't be able to change the condition of every human suffering. BUT if we ALL strive together to do whatever we can to make a change, a difference to as many people we can via charity donations from our STEEM earnings, that would never go unnoticed.

Next time you complain about how hard your life is, reflect back to this boy drinking muddy water from the floor...
