The Spokes of Life

Sometimes we can drop the ball on what makes up happy or what turns your life wheel of purpose. Reaching back to my previous post (“New Year New You”), I introduce to you five specific parts that can help you live a balance life : those parts are 1. Health and Physical 2. Emotional 3. Community 4. Meaning and Purpose 5. For me my spoke that needed balancing was health and physical. I let it go. And I can feel that the other parts that turn my wheel were being affected by my rusty health and physical spoke. As I took control and decided to fix my health and physical spoke, this helped turn my wheel of life more soundly and made the rides less bumpy. The best part about spokes of life is it is simple as simple does; you do not need a rocket scientist to help you figure it out. If one spoke is broken, then your wheel will not turn or your ride will be very uncomfortable. Simple. The hard part is figuring out what needs to be fix or fine tuned, when it needs to be fixed, or how. This process can be a little more time consuming or a complete mystery. Sometimes we are so focused on what is working that we ignore what needs fixing. In the next few post I will break down the specifics about the importance of each part of a balance life or a balance spoke, how to complete a check to see if a spoke needs to be fix, and how to notice when a spoke is out of balance.
