Hoy decidí preparar un rico almuerzo en homenaje a este día y de esta forma sorprender a mi novio, el platillo principal es: Chuletas Ahumadas a la Naranja acompañadas de Puré de papas, ensalada de repollo y pancitos tostados en forma de corazón con ajo, acompañado de jugo de Guayaba, y un rico postre llamado Bienmesabe, espero les guste.

El postre es un trozo de Bienmesabe que en otra oportunidad les realizaré un post con el paso a paso mi versión del Bienmesabe.

En una sartén mediano colocamos una chuleta ahumada y le vamos agregando el jugo de la naranja, cada cierto tiempo se le da vueltas a la chuleta y se le va agregando un poquito de jugo, para que poco a poco se vaya cocinando por ambos lados y verán que el jugo se irá convirtiendo en un caramelo que le dará un sabor muy delicioso a nuestra chuleta, la cocción dependerá de cada persona, particularmente yo las prefiero cuando están tostaditas y el jugo de naranja se ha vuelto caramelo, una vez listas reservamos.

Ahora vamos con el puré de papas y la ensalada, se coloca a hervir las papás para ablandar, mientras eso ocurre, tomo el repollo lo pico en trozos pequeños y lo lavo muy bien, una vez listo tomo la zanahoria bien lavada, se pela y se pasa por el rayador.

Ya tenemos el repollo y la zanahoria lista, ahora se unen, se le coloca mayonesa, un puntito de mostaza, sal y cilantro al gusto, intégramos todo y está lista la ensalada.

Ya las papas se ablandaron así que las pelo y trituro les agrego mantequilla queso y un toque de leche, esto es opcional, yo lo prefiero así, también se mezcla todo y listo nuestro puré.

Por último el pan, decidí cortarlo en forma de corazón y posteriormente se colocan a freír con mantequilla y ajo hasta que estén doraditos y listo.

Para el jugo tomo las guayabas las lavo muy bien las pico y las paso por la licuadora luego se pasa por el colador y se vierte en una jarra se endulza y ya tenemos nuestro jugo.
