In another relentless victory for entropy "Darwin's Arch" has collapsed into "The Pillars of Evolution" If you have no idea what I'm talking about, I hear ya I had no idea myself but here it is There's this huge arch-shaped rock formation in the sea near the Galápagos Islands, Ecuador It's been called Darwin's Arch for some time now because there was once this guy who liked animals a lot and who sailed up and down and around the formation many, many times with his pet beagle while writing books of their adventures and.... Yeah ^{_{*Pretty accurate*}} Maybe you've heard of him? The formation is also called ***El Arenal*** ^{_{*Darwin's Arch* to some, *El Arenal* to others...}} The rock has been there a long time It probably wasn't named for most of that time It's literally a geological feature Accreting and eroding, living and dying Across the ineffable span of geologic time > Cosmic time? > Even longer again > We are always right at the very edge of creation
