About me

Te saluda Alba Aliendres, nueva Hivers con usuario @albaa, nativa del pueblo de Los Arroyos, zona montañosa del Oriente de Venezuela, donde abunda una vegetación siempreverde, fauna silvestre y fértiles tierras que son aprovechadas para el cultivo de rubros diversos entre los que destacan yuca, plátano, auyama, ocumo chino, batata, aguacate y cacao, entre otros. Soy la tercera hija de cuatro hermanos producto del feliz matrimonio entre Víctor Aliendres (@victoraliendres) y Aura Cabrera (@auraf); mi padre es un apasionado agricultor a sus 77 años, mientras mi madre es jubilada de la Administración Pública, escritora, cronista del pueblo y autora de cuentos y leyendas típicas como La Chiva Maluca.

Greetings Alba Aliendres, new Hivers with user @albaa, native of the town of Los Arroyos, a mountainous area in eastern Venezuela, where there is abundant evergreen vegetation, wildlife and fertile lands that are used for the cultivation of various crops such as cassava, banana, auyama, Chinese ocumo, sweet potato, avocado and cocoa, among others. I am the third daughter of four siblings product of the happy marriage between Victor Aliendres (@victoraliendres) and Aura Cabrera (@auraf); my father is a passionate farmer at 77 years old, while my mother is retired from the Public Administration, writer, chronicler of the people and author of typical stories and legends such as La Chiva Maluca.

De niña acostumbraba acompañar a papá para el campo donde tiene su siembra, ubicada en la zona agrícola de Guaraunos, municipio Benítez que es surcado por múltiples venas y cuerpos de aguas superficiales que rematan sus aguas en ríos más caudalosos como el caño navegable de Ajíes. Me agradaba jugar con las mariposas, observar y escuchar el canto de las coloridas aves, mirar los peces y algunas especies más escurridizas de acercarse como iguanas, conejos, lapa, báquiros, guacharacas, ardillas, gato montés y otros. En ocasiones me bañaba en las cristalinas aguas y jugaba con la arena en las márgenes del río, recuerdo que papá me traía cambur, naranjas y guayaba mientras me divertía en este hermoso ecosistema hidrobiológico. Tiempos que añoro y revivo cuando visito en la actualidad el cultivo de mi padre.

As a child I used to accompany my father to the field where he has his crops, located in the agricultural area of Guaraunos, Benítez municipality, which is furrowed by multiple veins and bodies of surface waters that end their waters in more abundant rivers such as the Ajíes navigable pipe. I enjoyed playing with the butterflies, watching and listening to the songs of the colorful birds, watching the fish and some species more elusive to approach such as iguanas, rabbits, paca, báquiros, guacharacas, squirrels, wildcats and others. Sometimes I bathed in the crystal clear waters and played with the sand on the banks of the river, I remember that dad brought me cambur, oranges and guava while I had fun in this beautiful hydrobiological ecosystem. Times that I miss and relive when I visit my father's farm today.

En lo académico y profesional
Academic and professional

El contacto directo con la naturaleza y sus componentes en el campo, sumado a la actividad agrícola que mantiene mi señor padre, me hizo florecer la vocación por estudiar agronomía; quería contribuir con la producción de alimentos manteniendo un trato amigable con el ambiente, lo menos que deseaba era ocasionar impactos significativos que pudieran alterar las condiciones naturales del ecosistema.

Así que me inscribí en la universidad e inicié mi formación en ingeniería agrónoma, por razones familiares cesé estudios en el 4to. Año de ingeniería; sin embargo, pasé un par de años con mi madrina Teodora, quien era zootecnista y tenía un pequeño fundo con un rebaño rumiante, un fabuloso pastizal y valiosas especies frutales que llenaban de vida y color sus productivas tierras.

The direct contact with nature and its components in the countryside, added to the agricultural activity that my father maintains, made me blossom the vocation to study agronomy; I wanted to contribute to food production while maintaining a friendly treatment with the environment, the least I wanted was to cause significant impacts that could alter the natural conditions of the ecosystem. So I enrolled in the university and began my training in agricultural engineering, for family reasons I stopped studying in the 4th year of engineering;

however, I spent a couple of years with my godmother Teodora, who was a zootechnician and had a small farm with a ruminant herd, a fabulous pasture and valuable fruit species that filled her productive land with life and color.

Un día mi madrina me sirvió una taza de café y dándome una galleta de coco me pidió que le hiciera el favor de ocupar un apartamento que tenía en la ciudad de Maturín, estado Monagas; el cambio era un poco radical, pasaría de un clima montañoso con vegetación perennifolia a un clima tropical de sabana que para entonces concentraba una interesante actividad económica e industrial. Se me presentó una oportunidad que debía valorar, así que tomé la decisión de aceptar la propuesta y en pocos meses me encontraba trabajando y estudiando gerencia de recursos humanos en la Universidad Nacional Experimental Simón Rodríguez.

One day my godmother poured me a cup of coffee and giving me a coconut cookie asked me to do her the favor of occupying an apartment she had in the city of Maturin, Monagas state; the change was a bit radical, I would go from a mountainous climate with evergreen vegetation to a tropical savannah climate that by then concentrated an interesting economic and industrial activity. I was presented with an opportunity that I had to value, so I made the decision to accept the proposal and in a few months I was working and studying human resources management at the Universidad Nacional Experimental Simón Rodríguez.

Mi formación académica se desarrolló en un ambiente armonioso con múltiples amistades de diversos estados y localidades del país; finalmente, me gradué y tuve la oportunidad de comenzar a desempeñarme en empresas privadas con cargos afines a mi carrera profesional. Proseguí mi camino de formación y mejoramiento continuo, me especialicé en gerencia de relaciones industriales, también, en planificación y desarrollo social. He participado en equipos multidisciplinarios con el propósito de evaluar situaciones dentro del ámbito público y privado. Gracias a Dios, tengo 13 años de servicios en una empresa de la industria petrolera, en la actualidad desempeño el cargo de supervisora de Planificación, Presupuesto y Gestión en la gerencia de Recursos Humanos; manejo diversos paquetes ofimáticos y sistema SAP-Administración de personal.

My academic training was developed in a harmonious environment with many friends from different states and localities of the country; finally, I graduated and had the opportunity to start working in private companies with positions related to my professional career. I continued my path of training and continuous improvement, specializing in industrial relations management, as well as in planning and social development. I have participated in multidisciplinary teams with the purpose of evaluating situations within the public and private sectors. Thank God, I have 13 years of service in a company in the oil industry, I currently hold the position of supervisor of Planning, Budget and Management in the management of Human Resources; I handle various office automation packages and SAP-Personnel Administration system.

Sports and recreation

La actividad lúdica infantil estuvo presente de la mejor manera desde la escuela con juegos típicos de la localidad, recuerdo como que fuera hoy, entretenidas competencias de trompo, metras, pelota de goma y elaboración de aviones de papel. Durante mis estudios básicos integré el equipo institucional de voleibol y basquetbol. En voleibol tuve buen desempeño y la dicha de ganar varios campeonatos entre instituciones educativas. Esta disciplina deportiva la realicé en la universidad y conformé el equipo oficial de la empresa, disfruto jugar voleibol.

The children's recreational activity was present in the best way since school with typical local games, I remember as if it were today, entertaining spinning top, metras, rubber ball and paper airplane making competitions. During my basic studies I was a member of the institutional volleyball and basketball team. In volleyball I had a good performance and the joy of winning several championships among educational institutions. I played this sport at the university and I was part of the official team of the company, I enjoy playing volleyball.

Otras actividades dinámicas como descenso y ascenso en rapel llaman mi atención y ocupan parte de mi corazón. El senderismo y montañismo no son menos interesantes, nada se compara al éxtasis que experimento cuando realizo una excursión para ascender a pedregosos montes como El Cerro Bergantín, Turimiquire y el cerro el morro en Puerto La Cruz, ubicados en los estados Sucre, Monagas y Anzoátegui. El húmedo aire y siempreverde vegetación de altura me hace sentir en una dimensión supernatural que me conecta con mí ser interior y florece el ser humano sensible y amoroso que desea disfrutar a plenitud de todas las bondades de nuestra madre naturaleza.

Other dynamic activities such as rappelling and rappelling call my attention and occupy part of my heart. Hiking and mountaineering are no less interesting, nothing compares to the ecstasy I experience when I go on an excursion to climb stony mountains such as El Cerro Bergantín, Turimiquire and El Morro in Puerto La Cruz, located in the states of Sucre, Monagas and Anzoátegui. The humid air and evergreen high altitude vegetation makes me feel in a supernatural dimension that connects me with my inner self and blooms the sensitive and loving human being who wants to fully enjoy all the goodness of our mother nature.

Expectativas | Expectations

Adquirir nuevos conocimientos en la plataforma Hive, mayor crecimiento económico, crear una fundación sin fines de lucro en pro de personas de bajos recursos, continuar viajando para conocer las hermosas maravillas que tiene el país. Mis expectativas con Hive.Blog es ser más comunicativa, contribuir con el crecimiento de la plataforma. Asi mismo, obtener ingresos económicos de manera divertida, compartir experiencias culinarias, viajes y aprender de manera continúa de la plataforma.
